First, let me say that I don’t like writing bad reviews, much less about local restaurants. That being said, this was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had, period. I don’t think I would eat anything made at this place even if it was offered to me for free while I was stranded and starving in the wilderness.
We came here looking for good local food in the Anaheim area last Tuesday. We were seated immediately; our servers were nice and friendly. I ordered the vegetable pho and spring rolls as an appetizer, and my partner ordered the chicken pho.
We got the spring rolls and I started eating them. My partner showed me his roll with ham inside. My own had shrimp. Nowhere on the menu did it say that the spring rolls had meat or seafood; every other restaurant I have been to with spring rolls at the very least clarified on the menu if there was meat or not. We called our server over and he asked us if we wanted the tofu spring rolls instead. I was completely bewildered that, again, none of this was listed on the menu — the appetizer was simply listed as spring rolls. I was also upset because I don’t eat pork, and I would have NEVER ordered something with pork in it. The tofu spring roll skin was extremely tough and hard to chew, and overall not great.
The worst part of it was the so called pho. Pho is cooked over many long hours and it’s a delicious soup I’ve had many times at other authentic restaurants. I literally couldn’t take more than a few bites of the “pho” here because it tasted so bad, like an entire bowl of vegetables and microwaved noodles with canned vegetable broth. The broth was so salty — think instant ramen quality — that it was making me nauseous just trying to eat it. Scratch that — that’s an insult to instant ramen — it was more like prison food. It was like eating out of a bowl of soy sauce, except the soy sauce tastes like piss (sorry for this description, but yes, it really was THAT bad). My partner later said that his chicken was extremely tough, and that his broth also tasted like it had been canned. For over $15 per bowl, I was mad (and also still hungry). With tax and the tip, the bill came out to roughly $50 — $50 for food that we couldn’t even stomach because it tasted like piss. We took most of our “pho” to go because we hate food waste, but we ended up throwing it all out the next day anyway because neither of us could stomach our own leftovers. I hate to be one of those people that says “I could make this at home!” but seriously, I could have made something fresher and actually edible in less than ten minutes.
TLDR; I gave this place two stars because the service wasn’t horrible and the place seemed decently clean, but I would never come here again. At least with fast food, you get what you pay for on a budget. I feel sorry for the reviewers calling this good pho — seriously are you guys okay? Blink twice if you need help, Mr. Pho is not holding...

Have you ever been some place with a child that has just had enough. And all eyes are on you. You don't know if you should feel ashamed/embarrassed/ or frustrated because you feel all of it. And ultimately the sad part is, it is easier for ppl to judge you not knowing what you've been through. At times kids don't fully know how to communicate their feelings or when they've been completely engaged in an overwhelming experience like Disneyland. For us this was just that. A 3 year old who was overwhelmed, hungry, and exhausted after a full day of the experience. I mean if I could throw a temper tantrum as an adult, I def would on some occasions I've encountered. Lol
Upon entering was quickly greeted and ushered over to a table. A menu was given and drink order was taken. Now this is where it got pretty darn amazing. Our server whom I didn't catch his name was so on point with the timing and the response to the situation.
We opted for beef Stew, Brisket pho,egg Rolls, bread, and a lime drink. Without any hesitation our server quickly set up the bowl ready for the noods for the little. That night he was the toddler whisperer because Penelope surely calmed down real quick and enjoyed her feast. The food was on point. The meat was tender and the broth was full of flavor. I was very pleased.
Interior is a great size. There are all different seating arrangements. Everything was very clean. Music was playing in the background which made it nice to relax and unwind after the day we had.
Would most def recommend- pricing was typical. Now I'm in Vegas so for me yes typical. The customer service was so hospitable and courteous. We didn't feel rushed at all. Plus we loved the later hours.

Read moreAfter a long day at Disneyland, my husband and I decided to place an order with Pho Ha Plus for take out for dinner. I ordered Vermicelli with pork and shrimp for me and combination pho for my husband and a thai tea.
When I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, there was a couple ahead of me waiting to be seated. I’m not kidding, we waited for a good 10 minutes, just standing where the front door was. The couple ahead of me was just looking at each other (I honestly thought they were going to walk out). The couple finally got seated by a waiter, then the waiter glanced at me and quickly walked away. I was left standing there. An employee finally came to the register and I told her I am there to pick up my food. As I paid for my food with my debit card, the employee quickly printed out my receipt and asked me to sign my receipt as she quickly walked away. I did not even have a chance to ask for extra condiments. I peeked in the bag and saw the pho bowl, broth and my vermicelli and left.
When I got to my hotel, looking forward to eating my pork and shrimp vermicelli, I could not find the vermicelli sauce anywhere in the bag. I thought maybe the cup of sauce might be buried underneath the lettuce or vermicelli, which it was not. I did not enjoy my vermicelli without the vermicelli sauce and I did not feel like driving back to the restaurant for a cup of vermicelli sauce since it was already 9:40 pm. I didn’t finish not even half of my vermicelli, as it tasted bland without the sauce. I was so disappointed because I paid $42 for dinner and a cup of vermicelli sauce was not even included! It totally...
