I am a part time nanny and work with a child with nonverbal disabilities. I visited the plaza this weekend to pick up food at a business immediately next door. I was unable to find any parking in the lot or any spots around the building which presented a problem since when we got there the child expressed apprehension about getting out.
Lewis Jewlers has an entire section of the lot marked off for themselves, which is entirely fair if that is part of their lease agreement. Unable to find anything else, I parked in the further spot (there were over 10 open spots currently), rolled down my window to show myself and the child in the back, and indicated I was going to come ask as question.
As I greeted the security officers working to explain the situation-before I could even get my greeting out the security officer cut me off and told me to leave. And started to going on about how this lot was for paying customers only. When I finally managed to get a word out and indicated that I needed to just grab food that was already ordered/paid for by the child's parents and that we had been circling the lot and had been unable to find anything else. The security officer cut me off again before I could finish speaking and told me to leave. I thanked him for his time and left.
I totally understand there are rules and I'm not arguing even that the security officer should've made an exception but I thought it was very disrespectful to 1) assume before I had a word out of my mouth I wasn't a customer and 2) cut me off repeatedly and use a tone that was frankly condescending.
I've worked in customer-service facing positions before and have also had to enforce rules before that not everyone has loved, and personally I would never speak to anyone this way. A simple "no" and a kind (or even neutral tone) would've handled the situation.
The food was for a group gathering later on and I was sure to share my experience with this business with the parents when I returned and in turn, heard them sharing with their friends at the get together. Hopefully this business considers showing people courtesy and respect in general and not just patrons.
Again, the issue was not with the security officer NOT making being able to make an exception, but rather the contempt and direspect I was treated with for just asking a question.
Do not recommend doing business here if this is how they treat people that simply happen...
Read moreMy wife and I recently visited Lewis Jewelers to look for a watch for her, and we were absolutely blown away by the exceptional service and incredible selection. What started as a search for one watch ended with us purchasing three watches—two for her and one for me. This was all thanks to the helpfulness and expertise of the staff.
Working with Chuck and Devin was an incredible experience. They went above and beyond to ensure we found exactly what we were looking for, making the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. Their knowledge, patience, and dedication were evident throughout our visit, and we felt truly valued as customers.
It was our wedding anniversary, and the team at Lewis Jewelers made it extra special. They greeted us warmly, offered us champagne to celebrate our occasion, and included thoughtful little gifts. These personal touches made our experience unforgettable. The attention to detail and the exceptional customer service we received were impeccable.
One of the highlights was finding a watch for myself that had a matching dial to one of the watches my wife was buying. They are two of the most beautiful watches we’ve ever seen, and we love that we have watches from the same brand with the same material dial to commemorate our anniversary. This added a special touch to our celebration and made the experience even more meaningful.
This is the second time we’ve purchased something from Lewis Jewelers. I bought myself a watch a few months ago, and based on that wonderful experience, we decided to come back. The quality of the products and the level of service truly set Lewis Jewelers apart from other stores.
Thank you, Lewis Jewelers, for making our anniversary so memorable and for your unwavering commitment to excellence. We highly recommend this store to anyone looking for high-quality jewelry and outstanding customer service. Your team has turned us into loyal customers who will continue to return for all our future...
Read moreWe now have had 20 years of experiences with Lewis Jewelers - including close to a dozen watches, repair work, and custom work, and each experience has been simply SUPERB. DK is my go-to watch guy, and KEITH is just brilliant when it comes to any type of design and/or custom advice. Kind, supportive, knowledgeable, and high-integrity staff all the way around. I grew up in a fortunate position with regard to jewelry, as my Mom was/is a Graduate Gemologist through the GIA (Gemological Institute of America). She "schooled" me early on, regarding TWO CRUCIAL FACTS ABOUT JEWELRY STORES: (1) fraud is surprisingly widespread (e.g., stone-switching to lesser-grade stones, when you bring an item in for cleaning or repairs, is commonplace), and consequently (2) you ONLY want to do (serious) business with stores that are accredited through the "AGS" (American Gem Society) - as the AGS is the ONLY oversight organization in the business, and AGS stores are scrupulously honest - and who have GIA-trained GG's on staff. So, you want to get in the habit of ALWAYS asking: "Are you an AGS store?" and "Do you have GG's on staff?" Well, LEWIS JEWELERS has BOTH. But they go WAY beyond this. Not only are they honest, legit, and accredited; they also BEND OVER BACKWARDS in terms of their customer service - to make sure that YOU are happy, even if it cuts against their profit margin. Their pricing is fabulous; and their service-support unparalleled. For example, I recently had two of my watches serviced - and they not only arranged everything for me, but updated me regularly as to their status. Bottom line: YOU CAN TRUST THESE FOLKS! Thanks Lewis; and especially DK (the watch guy) and Keith (the custom design guy). I look forward to many more years of having you as...
