We had an absolutely FANTASTIC experience this weekend with Apopka Ace Hardware!! We wanted to have a particular grill delivered for a Sunday birthday this weekend, but with the hectic work week and back to school commitments, it was Friday morning before I had a chance to log in to the Ace app to make the purchase. The soonest delivery on the app at that time showed Monday, so I reached out to the store directly to see if there were any other options. Kristina absolutely came to our rescue! She found there was a grill in stock, still boxed, and made arrangements to have it assembled Friday so that it could be delivered Saturday before the birthday. Patterson not only took the time Friday to fully assemble the grill, but did a conscientious, awesome job delivering to us. Lisa and Douglas at the store have also been so kind and helpful each time I’ve interacted with them as well! Everyone was so extremely nice and went out of their way to go above and beyond to help us work this out. I’m so extremely grateful to the entire Apopka Ace team! Their customer service will keep us coming back time and time again, as it’s obvious they really care about their...
Read moreDo not take your lawn equipment to this store. I dropped off my Ego mower at this location on September 11 with an estimated 10 day repair date, today is October 31 and it is still there. They have not called me one time to update me on the status of my mower. They told me they had to bring in an Ego expert to determine that the pc board was bad(pretty sure that was not true based on the asst manager's comments). No updates about the alleged meeting with Ego. When I called today I was treated as if I was the problem and told if I didn't want to wait for the parts I could come get my mower and take it somewhere else. No ETA on the parts or the return of my mower. Good luck if you use them!
*What a ridiculous response. Once again, no phone call, no update and no resolution. I hope all of you readers appreciate the automated response from this company in regards to mine and your future experiences. This is the worst Ace hardware I’ve ever done...
Read moreWe have been customers for over 50 years back to the Lumber Jack. Since the store has become an Ace Hardware. At first it was difficult to get used to the new management. New rules new people and like any merger it takes time to meld a new business relationship. For a long time as soon as you walked into the store you would be followed like you were going to steal something, they finally stopped that when I challenged the staff. The only other problem is that they can't seem to keep employees. Every time you get to know a staff member they are soon gone. At times the store seems to have extremely low morale. Two things that will kill your business, high turnover and low morale. Both start with management. The pace of the leader determines the speed of the team. The store is often cluttered but still easy to get what you need. They have a great selection and their prices are competitive with other hardware stores, i.e. Home...
