Where do I even start? From beginning to end, Robbins Brothers (RB) has been nothing but professional and outstanding to work with. When it was time to begin the hunt for an engagement ring, I researched several other jewelers, and no one compared to the way RB treated me on my initial visit. In hindsight, it was a waste of time to have visited other jewelry stores. I was sent to RB by two work colleagues and am sure glad I listened to them. I have since recommended two other friends who are tying the knot, to go visit RB as well! Our first contact at the Arlington branch, Brad Morris, has been spectacular to work with and has truly become a great friend. He has guided us seamlessly through such an overwhelming process and has kept in constant contact to help with any questions we have had along the way. It is tough to adequately rate his service since it has been nothing shy of perfect. Along with Brad’s service, every other employee that has greeted us or directed while we waited or shopped there have made it a personal experience as well. After the big engagement ring purchase, we headed straight back to RB in Arlington to shop and purchase our wedding bands together. I will continue to keep in touch with Brad, and he will be my lifelong jeweler of choice and someone I can lean on for any related advice I may need. In fact, the bond between Brad and us has developed so well that we sent him a Save-the-Date AND an invitation to our wedding. He is THAT friendly and THAT awesome!! We also thank RB for the awesome pair of tickets to the Texas Rangers game, as we had a blast seeing some baseball on a summer night in Texas. If we could click on a 100-star rating, we would!!! Keep up the amazing, careful, and considerate work that you all do! Kory Yandell and April (soon-to-be...
Read moreINEXPERIENCED BUYERS BEWARE!!! They will come for your pockets! and the store manager is the "ring leader" 😌 I went in with the mindset that I am going to get my wife a nice surprise upgrade from a real ring store. I picked out a nice ring and was told the diamond on top is sold separately. No biggie. When it came to purchasing the diamond the manager and rep told me I needed to tell them my budget before they brought any of the diamonds out. I asked can't you bring a lower, mid and high priced diamond so I can see the difference and make a selection? After about 4 uncomfortable minutes of going back and forth we agreed on seeing a $2k diamond. When looking at the diamond I asked how do I know the quality of this diamond it looks really yellow. The rep said it's because you are comparing it to a cubic zirconia, lab diamonds have a slight yellow tent to it. While he was trying to push the credit app through... then he said and you'll need $600 cash after processing for the ring sizing. I asked can't I just finance everything? He said let me go check. I then took the opportunity to get far away from this ring store. I then went to a Robins Brothers in California.. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT experience. I picked my rings. Went to the back and the rep brought 2 diamonds with her at different price points without me asking.... Then, showed me their diamond chart so I could see the different cuts and colors of diamonds. I filled out the credit app , got approved and the ring will be ready on Friday. No money down. The diamond I purchased is an E. For $1900 I think this place tried to sell me a M for $2k. It was noticeably yellow. Anyways... everything came out to $8500 and I am very happy that I didn't buy from this branch. Store owner don't apologize. Instead, retrain your...
Read moreI will say that when I came in to the Arlington store with my now wife to get her engagement ring they are really helpful. The is we found out now after talking with another jewelry store that the setting for our diamond was too small. We had the ring right at a year and my wife can't wear the ring to work so it usually stays in the box. We get a call from the store without any research of how long we have had the ring that we will need to pay almost $500 for a new setting for the diamond. I asked to speak to this jeweler but that wasn't going to happen and then asked for the manager on duty but Reginald wasn't in and she didn't look at anything. I told them I would call the corporate office because the lack of research before calling was extremely unprofessional for a jewelry store. This isn't Best Buy or Target. I talk to Lori she took my complaint and then research everything with there Jeweler at the corporate office which agreed with the other company I went to for a second opinion. I am hoping the Arlington store learns from this a researches before calling and eve n more important the Jeweler learns or gets replaced. We as customers don't know if a diamond needs a bigger setting so we expect the Jeweler and/or sales person should be the expert in the field and we expect you to know what works best with what setting. I am someone that expects people to be experts if we are buying high dollar items like engagement ring and wedding bands. If something happens then make it right which is what the corporate office is doing. Thank you Lori for not just brushing me aside and doing the...
