At The Pier Arcade — Attraction in Asheboro

This place used to be great, and has a nice variety of retro claw machines. It’s just unfortunate because 90% of the machines you actually cannot win from because the claw is too small for the plushies that are in the claw. Or if it’s an elaut machine, it just loosens before even getting halfway up to the top of the machine. If you’re wanting to leave with SOMETHING, try the construction looking machine, it’s a lot of fun and you win almost everytime. I hope in the future they make sure every plushie in the machine actually winnable with skill, instead of being impossible. Just play the arcade games for tickets and only play the tiny claws for the optimal...

I had my 2 year olds birthday party here yesterday and I am highly disappointed... the staff was not friendly or helpful.. I asked for a trash can to throw away the trash and they said they didn’t have any ... they finally gave me a trash bag... not once did anyone check on us to see if we needed anything.. the package I bought was suppose to come with party supplies and not once was anything offered to me.... my child had 1240 tickets and when he went to cash them in, the guy let him get 3 things for 150 tickets and he trashed the rest and said he didn’t have anymore to spend ...
