First time eating here and will never return. I am confused by all the great ratings too. My husband and I chose to eat lunch here over the weekend. He ordered the Stromboli and I got the baked Ziti. My baked ziti came with a salad - which most of the lettuce was brown so I chose not to eat it. My husbands Stromboli was brought out and I was told my ziti was still in the oven. I told my husband to go ahead and eat his while it was hot - which he was not too impressed with it. He said it was ok but nothing great. The marinara he said tasted like tomato soup. He was done eating and my ziti was finally brought out to me. It was not done - the cheese on top was not even all melted. I tasted it and the noodles were kinda hard feeling. The lady asked me if I wanted it cooked longer and I said yes, so waited another 10 minutes or so. When she brought it out it didnt taste much better. Very bland. I ate about 3 bites and I was done. At least we know now to never come back here. The lady that was cooking the food and the waitress were super nice and kept...
Read moreGorilla Pizza is hands down the best pizza spot in town! The food is absolutely amazing—every bite is bursting with flavor, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. But what really sets this place apart is the staff. They’re not just friendly; they go above and beyond to make you sure the food is amazing.
One time, I was running late to pick up my order, and the owner personally offered to reheat my pizza when I got there so it would be perfect to enjoy. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare these days!
What’s even more impressive is how they remember their regulars. I come here 2-3 times a month and they still remember me. They know my usual order by heart, and the last time I decided to try something new, the owner would jokingly say, “Whoa, switching it up today? ” It’s little things like that that make every visit feel special.

I can’t figure out how to reply to the owner directly on mobile so I’ll just add my response here.
I blindly made an online order not realizing that Gorilla Pizza is basically a food court location inside a mall. That’s on me. I do not expect great quality from a food court location, but I paid $25 plus tip for a large supreme. Every aspect of the pizza was mediocre at best. Not enough sauce, sauce itself might as well have been canned tomato paste, bland crust that was somehow crispy on the bottom but undercooked at the same time, clearly canned veggies, which by the way the only ones I could discern were some sparse onions and olives for a “supreme”, cheese that was only there as a texture, and meat that had close to no flavor as well. Once again, it’s my mistake for not doing my research and ordering blindly from more or less a mall...
