I booked reservations for 7 adults and one child for 6/8/25. Entered the restaurant and there was a girl on the phone at the counter with her back towards us. Never turned around to acknowledge us or nothing. Did not want to bother her. Another girl walked up to the counter. Right in front of me and started going through receipts. Never a hi or nothing. A guy walked up and never said anything as well. Finally another guy walked up and got 2 menu's and went to seat the couple that came in behind us. I spoke up that we were next and had a party of 7 people. Told him to go ahead and seat them. The server seated us and I asked for the manager. Come to find out. Our server was the manager on duty. I had already expressed my concern to him. He apologized and said that he would investigate it. He was very professional and caring to our needs. Food was great and they even sang Happy Birthday to my friends granddaughter who had turned eight. Two weeks prior and who has adhd. And did not celebrate her birthday due to several issues. It made her day. I just hope that the management can correct the employee attitude. I am 70 years old and I put myself through college. By waiting tables. Things have changed alot since then. I was always polite and took very good care of my customers. Customer service goes a long way. I will try the restaurant again and hope that the...
Read moreMy family and I had lunch here recently, and I now totally understand why it's always busy!
The atmosphere is somehow both traditional and modern, in the way that the artwork itself is similar to what one would generally see in a Mexican restaurant, yet the style of the art is done with a unique modernized twist. Simply put, if I didn't come here to eat, I would have enjoyed the art enough to stick around and view it all.
Regarding the food itself, everything the 5 of us ordered was delicious and proportionate, and also presented fairly quickly, considered the number of different things we ordered. If I could make one or two comments regarding flavor, it would be that each plate has its' own set of key components that make them worth ordering, even if it's to get at least just a taste. I felt that what I ordered was a little bit on the salty side, but I may just be sensitive to salts because I generally only use very very small amounts when I cook. DEFINITELY NOT A DEAL BREAKER!
Final words:
The staff is friendly and quick, the food was prepared well and satisfying to all of our vastly different palates, and the restaurant itself is trendy and unique.
We will...
Read moreWould give no stars if it was an option. We started off with a rubber band in our Salsa! Showed it to our server she laughed and apologized. We finally got our food and it was okay (tacos). We had several Margaritas which were pretty good.. decided we would take a shot of tequila and little to our surprise they were $20 for A Single shot.. Yeah Yeah Yeah $20.... the server did not tell us the price when we ordered. Heck she laughed when we asked about the price when we seen it on the bill. She said you ordered top shelf! So we asked to talk to the manager and what do you know he was already laughing. The worst display of management ever. As someone who has been in food service for over 20 years I was outraged by the way he did not care. He did not even Apologize for the rubber band that was in the salsa. If you cannot speak or read Spanish probably not the best place to go. Trust this we will Never be back!! Ps. If you ask for water apparently you have to ask for ice or you just get...
