La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant #3 — Restaurant in Asheboro

Worse margarita I've had in a long time.( we ordered Razzberry and the flavored mixer was probably expired because the thick syrup was clumpy) Food was flavorless, Tamale was dry and burnt , then covered in red sauce to disguisethe burntness, chile relleno left much to be desired, very bland and the chicken on my chalupa was so dry I couldn't swallow it. I ordered combo #29 and did not receive my sides, server (Marlem) never returned to the table to make sure full order was received. We were a group of 10, and when we asked for 3 separate checks , she said she'd bring the bill and we could split it up ourselves. By that time I was aggravated and my response was " sure just bring the bill, I just want to get out of here.. (I was hangry, I had been there for over an hour and had not eaten anything of restaurant quality) My plate looked almost completely untouched, as did a few other ppl from our table, but she didn't care, she didn't even clear the table as we finished and stacked plates noticeably so they could be removed, nor did she offer to go boxes...not that I would have packed anything but it was obvious that we had not been satisfied with our meals and she didn't want to deal with us. I let the cashier know we were displeased, and she smirked and laughed in my face. I will never return and will let anyone who will listen know about my zero...

My family and I sat outside and placed our order as normal. Our waitress came by twice after taking our order to ask about drinks. After about 45 minutes the waitress said she was going to check on our food because it had been so long. She came back 5-10 minutes later and said "apparently a table that ordered after you ordered the exact same thing so they must have gotten your food" then another 10-15 minutes goes by. By this point we had been sitting so long and gotten so hot that we no longer in the mood for food, we even discussed telling the waitress to cancel the food and we would just pay for the drinks and leave. I got up to tell them that and then that's when the food came out. It was luke warm and we just asked for to go boxes immediately after taking one bite because we had waited so long. The waitress didn't seem too bothered by the fact that we had waited so long. When I went in to pay for this food maybe four tables had people at them from what I could see, there is no excuse that it took so long other than our order was never placed until she realized we had been sitting for 45 minutes and then she tried to do damage control. This is a place we as a family used to come to at least a couple of times a month but we don't plan on...

This was my first time dining at this restaurant. Is a popular place among the locals, so there was a line to be seated. Most patrons were wearing masks while they're out of their seats.

I ordered a grilled chicken breast with raspberry sauce fresh vegetables and black beans. The grilled chicken breast with raspberry sauce was incredibly delicious.my mixed vegetables came out cold as though they had not even been steamed and the black beans were kind of room temperature or barely warmer than that. The vegetables were a terrible disappointment and I reported them to the manager because of health concerns that come with serving undercooked food or food that is not served at the right temperature. When I requested hot vegetables, the request was graciously handled and I received the steaming hot replacement in no time.

My guests had a burrito that he said was absolutely delicious.

Our waiter gave us a great service. food portions were generous and the bill was about $25 for two of us including drinks.

The restaurant is very popular and did come highly recommended for us to try, however I'm not sure that I'll ever return here because of the temperature of the food that was...
