Arbol delicias Mexican Ice Cream desserts & coffee — Restaurant in Asheboro

This shop has made our shortlist of places to eat in Asheboro. We love shops that are a bit different and offer a unique twist on what is typically available in Asheboro.

Arbol is extremely clean and cozy on the inside. A few tables and large upholstered chairs round out the seating and the people working were friendly and very nice.

There are lots of scoop ice cream flavors to choose from and a large selection of what look like handmade ice cream bars with all sorts of flavor combinations. You won't find some of these flavors / combos at any Ice cream shoppe in town. For example, mango and chamoy, which my wife loved!

Both my daughter and I have the Strawberry and creme ice cream bars! These had large slices of strawberries melded with rich creme. It reminded me of a good cheesecake.

We will head back to try the coffee, it smelled great but was too late in the evening for us to try. The cafe looked well equipped to handle any type of coffee drink.

We definitely weren't disappointed and look forward to trying other flavors and coffee soon!!!

P. S. The napkins are huge! You never notice the difference until someone does it better and it makes sense. You appreciate the size, especially if you have kids and their hands get a bit messy!! Well done on...

We saw this place close to where we had lunch for the day, and were really interested! I got a scoop of ice cream, and my partner got a paleta. I got the mint chocolate chip, and it was very unique in its color and flavor. The ice cream was thick and interesting. The paleta was delicious! The person that sold us the items let us know since the paleta we ordered was a water-based one, to let it sit for a little bit before having some since it was pretty hard. The inside of the store is really cozy and comfortable. I liked it here a lot and would come back...

Can’t believe how you would treat a customer!!! Came here with my kids and husband he can’t have anything spicy. Was told the popsicle was sweet and when he started to take literally one bite of it it was hot to him. I let them know it was spicy for him and could we get something else. They kept on arguing with me that it wasn’t their fault and it wasn’t hot. Told me to leave and that one customer wouldn’t hurt their business. I am in disbelief how mean people can be. I sure hope you treat people better...
