Let me start by saying that as an artist with works for sale here, I definitely have a bias.
Art Garden AVL can be found on the corner of the Riverview Station building in the River Arts District. #316 right off of Lyman street.
It hosts original, Art, prints and all sorts of small gifting items from local artists or all kinds. The place is cozy with a ecclictic vibe, and OMG the 🪴 that are literally everywhere are also for sale.
The only downside is actually out of thier control. The old converted building is in no way mobility friendly especially for those using motorized wheel chairs.
The biggest plus is the actual outdoor attached garden full of art just outside the space. It's a great place to have a picnic, sketch, or just take in the view.

We stumbled upon the River Arts District by accident and the experience has been phenomenal. Here, at Art Garden, the gallery manager was kind enough to give us a brochure and guide us with what there is to see to get the full experience of the area. Things you should know: I. PARKING There's a massive private parking lot outside the warehouse-style building. Available spaces are endless ~ You won't have a problem finding a space. II. SERVICE Accommodating and informative. They'll go out of their way to help you here. III. QUALITY Vast amount of selection of artwork on various mediums. I like this specific location because everything is up for purchase. The Art Garden was my absolute favorite place on my trip to Asheville. So many beautiful plants and amazing art everywhere. The staff were so kind, Kiki was amazing. They packed everything I bought so nicely and it made it back home safe after the plane ride. I was also lucky enough to get to meet some of the artists that I purchased work from!
