It is fascinating to follow them on Instagram where you can see their trips to East Africa to work directly with the artisans. We were hesitant to return this Fall after the hurricane as we didn't want to add stress to the recovering infrastructure, but our local friends encouraged us to visit and support all of our favorite small businesses. So glad we did! Stopped here for the first time and got a beautiful bracelet. Also had a lovely conversation with the woman working. They partner solely with worker-owned cooperatives which means that the artisans in East Africa own their work and their businesses!
