This hotel was an excellent choice. The two bedroom ‘home away from home’ was perfect for our trip. It was exceptionally clean and surprisingly spacious. The location is perfect. Walking distance and convenient to everything you need from food to entertainment. What really stood out for me was the safety features built into the location. Codes are required to access the building, use the elevator and access your space. A designated parking space is all yours, which if you spend any time in downtown Asheville, is a premium! Everything we needed to have a comfortable stay was provided.
During our stay it rained one morning and we REALLY loved the sound of the rain on the 3rd Floor roof! Quite a few of the amenities that were available, we didn’t really need (example: the child utensils and cups, etc) are such a great touch. We’ll be able to recommend this location to friends and family that have those needs.
Despite being right downtown, it was very quiet and that’s wonderful whether you are recovering from a party or there to work! I will be a repeat customer and recommend this location to friends and family.
One item lacking was that there was not an available full-length mirror anywhere in our room. It’s always nice to be able to catch a view of your full look before heading out the door! It would be a great add.
Thanks Elevation Lofts Hotel, see...
Read moreThis was an awesome find on Google maps. I’ve never stayed in downtown Asheville when visiting, so I wasn’t sure where to stay. I found elevation lofts when I was doing Google searches for hotels. I wanted two bedrooms with attached baths since I was traveling with my brother. This was absolutely perfect. It was quite large for just the two of us, so I know it would be perfect for larger groups. It is a beautifully remodeled hundred-year-old building with a loft feel in the living space. It was in the middle of downtown and we walked to dinner, breakfast. It’s only a few minute drive from the Biltmore. We visited on the first weekend the Biltmore reopened after the hurricane. At this time they’re still under a boil water advisory, but they had a large pack of bottled water in the refrigerator along with a large water cooler on the countertop. The beds were very comfortable. The living space was open, bright and perfect for gathering together. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it was a wonderful space that would be perfect for cooking if you wanted. The place was immaculately clean. I was very impressed. The parking is on the backside of the building, accessible from Walnut Street, with assigned spots. I highly recommend staying here if you want a large space to spread out and a home...
Read moreFour of us were on a girls' trip to celebrate two milestone birthdays. One of the birthday girls stated "It was such a lovely trip. Lots of walking and cocktails and good conversation." which sums it up perfectly! We walked all over downtown to the shops and galleries, the Basilica and restaurants. We were able to jump in the car which was parked right outside (not in a garage and at no extra cost!) to drive to the Biltmore and the RIver Arts District. We all agreed that the best part was staying at Elevation Lofts, as much of the aforementioned "cocktails and conversation" took place there. The glassware in the kitchen is stocked to serve ANY kind of drink (inluding corkscrew and cocktail shaker). We were able to make a full pot of coffee each morning with the locally sourced coffee grounds that were provided. In fact, they thought of everything that you could possibly need and supplied it (except for ice - you will need to buy a bag of that, but the freezer IS big enought to hold it). Most importantly, there was space for us to hang out together before, after, and between our adventures. And this trip was mainly about just that - spending...
