Fired Up! Creative Lounge — Attraction in Asheville

I am so impressed with these folks. I have two daughters, 13 and 10 ( one a perfectionist and the other an easy going kid). We wanted to go here and do a few items for Father's day but could not muster the time for an all day adventure. Okay, so three months after Father's day we went to their location to get ideas. Low and behold the owner said we could take the pieces home and sketch lightly with pencil to get the perfect ideas, then paint them later at their store, when the stencil was made. This was heaven sent for us. We are so delighted with the ceramics now that they are made. Best of all, the imagination was in the comfort of our own home. Both daughters could create at their own speed. I waited 3 months for my Father's day gift but the biggest gift of all was knowing that we could do this without tears and on our time. Love this place! We came here before lunch on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy at all. I’ve been to other pottery painting places and this one outperforms them all. The staff is much more knowledgeable and helpful than most places. They explain the whole process and make you feel comfortable. Me and my wife painted one piece each and they will fire it up and will even SHIP it to us when it’s done for a flat rate fee of $15. We don’t come to Asheville often, but will for sure recommend this to others. The only thing I would take a half a star off is that as of 3/12/22, they still require masks. I've wanted to come here since the last time I was in Asheville ( I think a lot of my review's start like this? ) a few months ago. I've done glass fusing at the Corning museum of glass in NY and love it. I was trying to make a field of wildflowers, which definitely looked better in my mind, and hubby made a sailboat ( my idea! ). See the pics below.
