My friend wanted to buy me dinner for my birthday and we both wanted to try the newest restaurant in town. We decided to go to the Great North Commons last night (Wednesday night, 7 PM). The atmosphere was beautiful and service was great! We ate at Cowboy Macs and we both had a burrito that was recommended by the bartender. Our burritos were luke warm at best. Most of the bites I had were room temperature. Needless to say I could eat it. It really had no flavor because it wasn’t even warm.I let our bartender know. My friend said the same of her burrito. I was not about to send it back to the kitchen, so I asked for a box and said I would heat it up at home so I can eat it. With that said- Pasta is about $20 and comes in a plastic bowl with paper napkins. Not even close to worth the $.Tons of TV’s on 1st level but will not put them on for any reason. A month after opening employees do not know how to work the TV’s on the 2nd level so they will not change the channels to get specific events. Heard sandwiches are good. May try those.
