-NEGATIVE STAR!!! This place is crooked! I was informed that these employees are only paid by commission, so be aware of what you are told when purchasing with these people!! First they lied to me just to get a sell. I was only interested in one thing and I was told that it could be customized. I confirmed with the sales person 3 times before making the purchase. A week later, I called to confirm my delivery date. I was told that my furniture could not be customized. I went to the store and I told them I want to cancel everything but then they wanted to bargain instead and took $500 for the inconvenience. I agreed with that. We scheduled a new delivery date, I was told if it comes earlier then they would deliver it. I called to see if my furniture mightâve arrived early. I was told âI donât know but you are scheduled for the 16th.â I asked the person on the phone to confirm first before saying âI donât knowâ but I was told to call the winder store. On November 16th, I never received a call to confirm my delivery. I called this store a few times but no one would answer, so I reached out to the winder location. I was told I would receive a call back to confirm delivery. Then 2-3 hours later, I finally received a call confirming my delivery. I said âI decided to purchase elsewhere. So I want to cancel this order.â I was told to call the Athens location. I actually went to this store to simply say âI no longer need or want your services please cancel this order.â I waited in that store for over an hour in a half just to hear them say âWe have a no cancellation policy.â I stated, âwhy the hell would you bargain with me when I came up here to cancel after finding out that it couldnât be customized, if you donât offer cancellations!!!â However, I did the 90 day buy out option with Koalafi and they can cancel a purchased lease agreement ESPECIALLY if you never received the item.    Read moreFirst off, I bought my furniture from the Winder Home Furniture Store, but the Athens location is the one supposed to make the delivery for the items I purchased. Michelle, at the Winder location, has been amazing. Got me a good deal and helped me pick out my furniture.
Then, once it moved over to the people helping deliver my items it all went south. I was told my couches would be delivered next day, but never given a time nor did I receive a call before they just showed up two days later around 8:00pm. They also ripped paint and took a piece of wood out of my front door while getting the furniture inside. But before this happened⌠when I got ahold to a manager (I believe Jessica) at the Athens location to ask what the heck was going on⌠I was on hold for 17 mins then she picks up the phone to âhelpâ me but stops mid sentence to take a personal phone call about setting up a friendâs banking account at Wells Fargo. And she then tells me my furniture will be delivered sometime that day. No time frame of when they would be there.
Then, the rest of my furniture was supposed to be delivered a week later. I did receive a phone call 10 mins before the guys arrived this time. But when the guys arrived they parked on my grass and on top of our sidewalk (instead of in the road or driveway). And one of the guys got upset bc they brought the couches that I already had as well and slammed the truck door and clearly got very angry. They also didnât have all the pieces to the bench I ordered for my table so they told me they would be back Monday with the bench. Itâs Wednesday now and I still havenât heard a word from them.    Read moreZERO stars! We had an awful experience with this company! My husband and I ordered a custom couch with them and were told it would be delivered in 6-8 weeks. Due to covid, it was pushed back and I was understanding and patient until our couch showed up 5 months later and was made incorrectly. We then had to send it back and they claimed to have put in another order for the correct one. That estimated delivery date came and went and a year later, we still had no couch. After many excuses and phone calls to them, I was told the company that made our couch shut down and we would be unable to get it. I told the manager, Tamara, that I would like a refund and she said okay. Even took down my credit card number to process the refund back on! Two weeks later when I still hadnât received it I called and was told they were backed up with refunds and to keep an eye on my account because it would be there soon. A few days later I called AGAIN and was told by the new owner that I would not be receiving a refund and my only option was to come pick out something at their store. I have been lied to for a year and a half by this company and at this point they have stolen my money. I didnât get the couch I was promised and they refuse to give me my money back.
