Urgent Complaint: Witnessed Racial Harassment by Valet Worker at Buckhead Village - July 10, 2025 around 7:00pm Dear Buckhead Village Management I am writing to express my profound concern and outrage regarding an incident of racial harassment I witnessed on your premises. On Thursday, July 10, 2025, around 7:00 PM, while walking towards Taverna for dinner, I observed a deeply disturbing interaction at the valet pick-up booth at Buckhead Village just around the cornfrom the elevator that goes to the parking lot. One of your valet workers was overtly harassing another employee of Buckhead Village. The valet worker, whom I cannot name as he refused to provide it, repeatedly taunted the female Buckhead Village janitor employee by asking her if she spoke "English or Spanish." The female worker spoke in spanish, and he then aggressively told her to "go home, go home." This entire incident occurred in full view of other individuals present at the valet booth. This behavior is unequivocally racist and a blatant act of harassment. The questions about language proficiency, immediately followed by the derogatory command to "go home," are clear indicators of an attempt to demean and marginalize an individual based on their perceived ethnicity or national origin. It is a classic racist trope designed to make someone feel unwelcome and that they do not belong. This incident directly contradicts what I understand to be Buckhead Village's good values. Such hostile and discriminatory conduct undermines your efforts to create a welcoming and respectful environment for both your employees and patrons. It reflects a severe lack of professionalism and a disregard for basic human decency. As a regular patron of Buckhead Village, I was deeply disturbed and offended by what I witnessed. It has significantly impacted my perception of the safety and inclusivity of your establishment. No individual should be subjected to such demeaning treatment, especially in their place of work. I urge you to conduct an immediate and thorough investigation into this serious matter. I request that appropriate disciplinary action be taken against the valet worker responsible for this unacceptable behavior. Furthermore, I expect to hear what steps your organization will implement to ensure that all staff, particularly those in customer-facing roles, receive comprehensive training on diversity, anti-harassment, and professional conduct to prevent any similar incidents from occurring in the future. I love the Shops at Buckhead. It is is a very fancy, outdoor shopping center located in Buckhead. There are so many stores, and most of them are high end. You can find Dior, Hermes, Tom Ford, Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, and more...

I absolutely love the "window-shopping" experience, I feel like you can't find these as often any more and it sucks, it makes me feel like I'm walking around in Europe LOL.

There's only a few dining options, but a great selection. Some of the ones you can find are Shake Shack, Taverna, American Cut, and then right next to each other on the second level (B2) you'll find The Southern Gentleman (southern gastropub), and Gypsy Kitchen (Spanish cuisine).

The Regent Cocktail Club is also located on level two (A2). This lounge has a rooftop area where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Atlanta.

As we all know, parking can be really tricky in Atlanta. There's plenty of parking in their garage, and complimentary 3 hour self parking is provided with validation by most of the businesses you visit.

Valet is also available, and they offer "Flash Valet" which will allow you to text them, and tell them where you want your car to be delivered close to you. Nice.

Me encanta la experiencia de caminar y ver por las ventanas de las tiendas, siento que ya no puedes encontrar este tipo de sitios con tanta frecuencia y apesta, me hace sentir que estoy caminando por Europa LOL.

Solo hay unas pocas opciones gastronómicas, pero una gran selección. Algunos de los que puedes encontrar son Shake Shack, Taverna, American Cut, y luego uno al lado del otro en el segundo nivel (B2) encontrarás The Southern Gentleman (gastropub con cocina del sur) y Gypsy Kitchen (cocina española).

OMG 😲 !!! This is an amazing rooftop patio restaurant w/a stylish venue and vybe. Unfortunately, rain was imminent so the outside area were closed. My daughter, 👩🏾‍🍳Jhatiara, treated us for my 58th bday...and we were not disappointed. Service was great from minute one & our seating was practically in da middle..on da bar side 😄 and allowed for some nice pics of their eclectic & artful decor. Our server, Della, was DOPE Della On Point Everytime. We don't play..SHE was $65 tip on it 👌 DOPE ♡ Very personable & knowledgeable about da highlights of each dish we asked about, listened to our likes, and recommended da best ones. Dishes are Spanish inspired & Indian + Moroccan infused..full w/flavor & ethnic spices. Trying several Spanish Tapas (small plates-for sharing) was our "assignment". This was my 1st time seeing my fave spice Berbere, a traditional Ethiopian spice blend of chiles, garlic, allspice, cinnamon & fenugreek, listed as a primary seasoning on a menu [see "grilled Berbere spiced 16oz Ribeye"]. We started w/2 glasses of complimentary champagne 🍾for my birthday toast & first started w/da GA Local Lettuces (mix well b4 njoyin for best olive-based flavor of the vinaigrette-based dressing) It's uniquely tasty & delish. We, just us 2, ordered 6 Tapas to add to our salad. There isn't enough space to give homage to each of the beautifully presented and timely arrivals..& arrivals & arrivals..of rich, spicy, perfectly seasoned, cooked, sauces, veggies & meats. Our freshly prepared plates were exceptionally timed by da chef(s) and arrived about every 5-7 minutes. Just enough time to taste, taste some more, catch a couple of bites of da previous one, sip, sip, and repeat w/da next one. It was like a Spanish Thanksgiving day kinda feast in July... There was no conversation between us for at least 15 minutes, ya'll SMH...Come on Somebody!!! 😍 Liked da personal sized champagne 🍾 so I was able to refill my flute just right🥂 to adequately "reset my palate" for NEXT... After exhaling for a minute we topped off our feast event w/2 desserts, chocolate torte & cheesecake, which we shared AND we then each scored our fave to take home w/our leftovers😋 Thank you so much my best gyrl, Jhatiara, for my FANTABULOUS birthday day treat😘 in da ATL ❤️ 😘 💙 .
