To whom it may concern,
I’m writing to share my disappointment with an experience we had at your arcade on the evening of June 29, 2025. According to yelp and my Apple Maps , your location is listed as closing at 12:00 AM. Based on that information, we arrived at 9:50 PM, expecting to have some time to enjoy the games with our daughter.
Since we had already told her we were going to the arcade, we let her play two crane machines when we arrived. On the way out, we also played the Wizard of Oz game, during which a card became jammed in the machine. We informed a staff member and even identified exactly which character card it was before she opened the machine—it was the only card inside. Despite this, she refused to give it to us and handled the situation in a very rude and dismissive manner.
We’ve been coming to this arcade for over 40 years and have never been treated this way. If there is a new policy regarding jammed cards, we would appreciate clarification. However, the interaction could have been handled with more courtesy and professionalism, regardless of the policy. We are also very sad to not see the regular employees we have been seeing for as long as we can remember.
We’re disappointed to feel like our time and money were wasted, and more so to be treated this way at a place that’s meant to be fun and welcoming. Before we consider coming back, we’d like to know whether this is a new rule—if a card gets jammed, are guests no longer allowed to receive it?
Thank you for your time, and I hope to hear back with...
Read moreThis is my to-go-spot every time I step foot Atlantic City. I have been coming since I was 10 maybe? But i am now it my thirties. This time it was worth mentioning because I had to trouble a game attendant (blessing) almost every 15-20 mins, and even in doing so, she was never impatient and understood my needs. I have called her over to the wizard of Oz game because I notice as I kept getting drops of winnings but nothing was coming out of the dispenser and when she came over to assist, she found out that cards and coins were stuck, she fixed the problem. I changed to a different station (same game) after loading $$, the machine stopped working, I called her over and she said there was an overflow, she fixed it. Then I played a stacking game and won a major prize but as the prize was dispensing, an error message came up and I had to call her over. This one took longer as she was able to locate the key to open the machine, finally after speaking to her boss, she got it opened and again she fixed it. Never once I felt she was losing patience so I think she deserves a shout out. Go Blessing! Anyhow, spend about 2-3 hours here, if it wasn’t the heat and minimal air conditioning, I would’ve stayed longer. But this was definitely a time that brought back memories. Also, the reasoning for the four stars is that lots of the machines needed fixing due to time of use but I will...
Read moreMy family and I absolutely love this arcade! Every trip to Atlantic City, we have to go and end up staying for hours! The atmosphere here is so fun and carefree! The staff (mostly Kelly) makes it so inviting for all ages! Playcade provides different entertainment and special prizes for all as well too! It keeps us coming back for more for sure. Kelly is always there to help, socialize and make the experience even better. She is a huge asset to the gameroom! Kelly does a fantastic job with adults and children! Anthony is always quick to help out as well. The prizes at playcade are made to where they can be reached and they are of outstanding quality. My fave game is the quarter game located in the heart of the games front and center of the gameroom from the boardwalk which is the Wizard of Oz. The game sucks you in just as if you were walking the yellow brick road. I hope that the playcade keeps up the amazing quality that they have! I must say that a trip here is a must on the list when visiting atlantic city's boardwalk! After all we have been visiting for almost 18 years and it gets...
