I recently visited the Coach Outlet to purchase my first-ever Teri shoulder bag, an experience I was initially very excited about. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment due to the behavior I encountered during checkout.
When I approached the counter, the salesperson, an African American woman with noticeable scars on her throat (I regret not catching her name), did not greet me or acknowledge my presence. Instead, she continued chatting with her coworker without even looking up. When she finally addressed me, it was with a curt “205 is your total—cash or card?” There was no “hello,” no smile, and no effort to make me feel welcome.
As a customer, especially one spending a significant amount, I would expect a level of courtesy and professionalism that reflects the Coach brand. A simple greeting or acknowledgment goes a long way in making a customer feel valued. Unfortunately, this interaction left me feeling dismissed and unwelcome, particularly as a Muslim young woman. It’s disheartening to feel like assumptions might be made about me based on my appearance.
I hope the management takes steps to ensure all customers receive the high-quality service that aligns with Coach’s reputation. Training employees to provide respectful and courteous customer service is essential to maintaining the brand’s image and fostering...
Read moreI went into the Coach outlet to see items for myself versus the online store. They do offer different options. Glad I went in.
There was a young lady who assisted me greatly. Spent an hour in the store and bought about 2k worth of items. She didn't rush me at all and her coworkers didn't rush her despite the store being full. She was very attentive, kind and patient. When I go back, I'll make sure to get her name and edit this review so she can get her flowers.
Again, they had many options of high quality items for both men and women but mostly women. Purses, handbags, backpacks, fanny packs, belts, shoes, boots, jackets, shirts, colognes, perfumes, money clips, hair clips, duffel bags, even masks. You name it, they have it.
I came into the store to get my wife a few items for Sweetest Day. I know I didn't have to but we had just gotten married on 08.29.2021. Wifey was extremely happy. Going the extra mile just like the employees at the Coach outlet is always a good thing and very appreciated. I'll be coming back...
Read moreI ordered a bag for store pick up. The store was an hour away and I showed up that afternoon. So the order wasn’t ready when I got there so they sold me The same bag for more money. When I got home the bag was not the same color as it was online. When I returned it the sale was over in the store. So the bag that I wanted to buy I had to re-order online. They wouldn’t honor the online price or give me the price that I could have purchased it when I originally picked up the first bag. Their 800 customer service was very friendly spent 40 minutes calling the store the order was placed and it would be ready for pick up that day. They said I couldn’t pick up the bag for 48 hours the employees in the store are rude into the point of obnoxious. After today I will never step foot in the store again . And they wonder why brick and mortar stores are closing. This isn’t even a different company they’re both...
