My bf and I use our Regal Unlimited passes frequently at this location, but after today we won't be stopping by anymore. My bf needed to use the restroom, and unfortunately, the employee checking the tickets was policing the restroom. She called for a manager because rather than walk away the first time she said no, my bf explained we were together and I was still in line waiting to get tickets, and asked if he could use the restroom. but she still turned him away, so he came back over to stand in line with me. The manager never came, so we didn’t get to talk to them. With the movie starting soon, our line being the only one open, him not being able to use the restroom and us not understanding what the problem was (since we were already in line, and this had never been an issue before) we were a little confused and irritated, thinking maybe something happened, maybe they implemented a new policy…something…still we couldn’t figure why she felt the need to police the restroom like that though and call for the manager, especially since hardly anyone was there, it wasn’t a busy day or a weekend. We didn’t yell, we weren’t belligerent, we weren’t disturbing anyone around us - he didn’t ask again after explaining we were together and I was still in line waiting to get our tickets, this was not okay. When we got to the counter he got his ticket first and I asked if he wanted anything before he went to the restroom, and he said a large drink and that’s when things got worse. I asked the employee working concessions for a large drink, he said okay, anything else? I asked if they had cheetos popcorn, he said they had it in small, and I said okay a small is fine, but he didn't ring it up. Instead he tried using my points to pay for a large regular popcorn, which is not what I asked for, and I hadn't mentioned anything about using my points. I asked if I could get the cheetos popcorn in a large using my points then, but he said no. I told him to take the large regular popcorn off then, which he did, but he still hadn't rang up the small cheetos popcorn, so I told him I'd just have the large drink, but then I looked over and saw the slushie machine, and asked for a large slushie as well. He grabbed one cup and rang me up for a large slushie and told me my total. I ask what about the large drink, he said oh, did you want a large drink too? (this was the first thing I asked for)I said yes, but at this point, I was getting frustrated, and a little overwhelmed so I ended up using the wrong card to pay. He told me it didn't go through, I told him I'd just send my bf back for the drinks then and just got my ticket, thanked him and walked off. No, this employee wasn’t new, we have seen him working concessions before. Did he just not want to help me because he thought my bf was causing a problem for this co-worker even though he wasn’t and we had no idea what was even going on or why she was policing the restroom? Why did he try to use my points for something I didn’t ask for or want? Do they understand these things are not okay? I met up with my bf outside the restroom and explained why I didn’t have his drink, and how the employee in concessions didn't really seem to want to help me and how I felt I was inconveniencing him. My bf then told me how uncomfortable he felt and explained how the employee was still policing the restroom with him and how she even double checked his ticket before she let him through. At this point, our movie had started, we could hear it as we reached the door to go in and take our seats. We then just decided to leave as the movie had already started, and we were feeling really uncomfortable, upset and bad all because we wanted to use the restroom and get some concessions with our tickets. Upset that we weren't able to watch the movie, and debating if we wanted to even keep our unlimited passes after that, we ended up at a different Regal theater, and talked to a...
Read moreI enjoy the comfortable seating, fair prices and early matinees on the weekdays. However, I do have one complaint. It happened twice and ruined my overall movie experience at this theater. I usually stay for the credits and possible movie clip at the end. After watching The Mummy, the credits were half over and the cleaning crew came in and stood near the first row seats. This made me uncomfortable so I got up and finished watching from the bottom isle. Later in the day I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean. Shortly after the credits began, the same cleaning crew came in and turned on the overhead lights. I got up and told them that I wanted to watch the movie to the very end. They didn't say anything, took their quick minute to pick-up garbage and left. Obviously, they could have waited until the film was completely over. There was plenty of time before the next movie started. I paid to see the entire movie from beginning to end without interruption. As a paying customer, I should be treated with more respect. I should not be rushed out the door. In one of these reviews, corporate provided an e-mail. I wrote to them directly and never got a response. I would have given this theater four or five stars, if it weren't for the rude treatment from their cleaning staff that day on...
Read moreAs far as a chain theatre goes, this is the best regal gets. Their baseline showings (no rpx imax or 3d) still have great image and video quality! The seats are reserved so you can choose where you sit. You can order online which is wonderful. It's never too busy unless you're going to a movie that came out recently. The staff is nice, if not unexciting. Josiah is their best and nicest employee for sure!
The bad parts are no fault of the theatre itself. It's Regal's fault. Food is wicked overpriced. Just sneak in all your goodies. Free refills on the large icees is nice. Although not incredibly useful if you have a standard sized bladder. People can be texting during shows. Blahh blahh. Same complaints at every thetre. Worst part is Maria Menounos before each showing. I always try to show up late because she's incredibly annoying, pandering, and kind of scary when she looks right at you. Just tons of advertising is also annoying. I'm all for local ads but I don't need to hear about the behind the scenes of transformers 8 coming out and how awesome Mountain Dew is.
Good theatre. Always order your seats before hand to at least see what's available. Good stuff. Love the comfort and...
