So Iām not sure if the store reads these or not but if soā¦.to the two girls that seem to be of maybe middle eastern heritage (race isnāt relative just The only way I could think to describe because everyone else working had brown hair too) that were working around 4pm on march 11th that decided they hated me the second they laid eyes on me (like many women before) and have borderline harassed me and treated me like a thief and like Iām unwanted and not good enough to be there when I come into the store I just wanted to introduce myself. Hi Iām Amanda. Iāve been coming into this Ulta for a long time, other employees there know me. I have a job that pays really well. This job requires me to be dolled up daily and I use a lot of beauty products and constantly need refills. I literally go shopping in Ulta or Sephora for something I need atleast every other day. Because of that Iām a diamond member! Which I confirmed today means that I spent significantly more money than the average customer. I already became a diamond member for 2025 alone by the first week of march! I would be legitimately surprised if I was not in the top five customers as far as money spent in the store on this area. Iāve literally never stolen anything (again high paying job) and will never steal anything. I say all of this because while I could handle the first time I came in this week when the taller of the two girls heard me ask an employee next to her if I could use the bathroom and she loudly demanded that I give her my shopping bag, And it was very obvious what you were implying to the point it made your coworker, uncomfortable, and she Apologetically let me know I could just leave my bag down by the salon. I could also handle the next day when you and the other girl were giving me dirty looks and whispering to each other around me and following me around the store asking me if I needed help and then when I would ask for help or had a question, give me really sarcastic passive aggressive. But when The shorter of the two saw me leaving the store with a product in hand, and she raced to the cashier and loudly, demanded to know if I had paid for that product (of course I had) I decided that I actually wasnāt comfortable with being treated anymore. I genuinely thought that customers who paid the most would maybe get treated better or at least get treated decently. So just asking if in the future you could maybe not go out of your way to make me feel like Iām not wanted in the store or that Iām the kind of person who couldnāt possibly have enough money to shop there that would be phenomenal. If every other customer in the store was treated this way, I would think it was rude, but I wouldnāt be complaining about it so I know when itās me being singled out and I havenāt done anything wrong itās obviously something about me personally you donāt like but I donāt think itās okay to act out on that when Iām a paying customer and youāre an employee. In the future, if you could at least just ignore me and leave I would appreciate it. And if at any point you ever believe that I am stealing anything, I 100% urge you to call security or the police and have them come and check through my bags. You can give me a cavity search for all I care. Attaching a picture of myself, so you know...

I had the pleasure of obtaining exceptional and professional services from Hyacinth on 8.16.22. She went above and beyond taking her time and explaining the products my daughter needed. When I asked for help previously to another worker who I wish I got her name, but she was 4'8- 5 ft, black hair pulled back and mixed. She basically brushed us off and pointed in a large section and walked away. She was trying to avoid helping me, that made me feel as if she didn't want to waste her time on me and that we looked like we were not going to buy anything. When I went up front to see if someone can point me where Anastasia products were. Hyacinth stopped what she was doing (stocking), without frustration, smiled and literally walked us to the product and asked is there anything we were looking for. My daughter never wore makeup before and I have a lighter skin tone vs her darker tone. In which it's harder for me to point out what might work for her, even though I wear makeup.
Hyacinth didn't just point us to the direction like her coworker, she took her time helping us match the right color and explaining what might work with her acne as well. when I tell you, she did such a great job, she did a great job. We spent $275 within the store due to all the great advice and customer service she provided.
Thank you for all your help Hyacinth, I hope all the workers there can be more helpful like you. Good luck and keep up the great work. Would of gave 5 stars but the other...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLacks leadership in customer care. I came here today to make a return while I was doing some shopping. I entered the store, nobody acknowledged me (4 people behind the register counter, no line- no customers). I've never made an ulta return, so I asked: where do I go to make a return? A larger frame gal w mostly died hair (name: Shania). looked up from her phone and said "you need to go down there" and pointed to the other end of the counter. So I walk all the way down to that end and enter the counter area again. She then says: "she can help you right here". The exact spot where I asked her about a return. (Still, no customers in line) So I asked her why she made me walk all the way down there, when I was just here seconds ago, at this register, (same cashier). At first she was acting like she didn't hear me, so I asked again. She hardly looks up at me from her phone, and says "because I wasn't sure who could help you". š¤ Not in a friendly tone or demeanor. I asked the cashier what is her name and if she is a manager. Wow. . If this is the type of leadership a manager is displaying toward any customer/client, it's not good. A manager should lead by example. Covington, Tukwila and Federal Way are friendly, acknowledging and welcoming. Shania should have a manager/leadership/customer care refresher course. Then be reminded that without the customers, she wouldn't have a job. I have served customers for over 20 years, as an employee and a business owner. I won't be back here. 2 stars are for the Cashier who...
