Toomer's Corner — Attraction in Auburn

Such a warm, yet energetic feeling at Toomers Corner after a football victory. Let me put emphasis on this... Not just after a football victory. These students and fans are so passionate about their sports team, yet they are the friendliest, most respectful and down the earth people I've ever been around during major sporting events. They are so passionate about ALL sports at their school! Such a neat tradition that's been going on for so many years. Out of all the college campuses I've visited in the United States, I personally don't think there's another like Auburn. It's not just the winning football tradition that makes this place so special. It's something about the friendliness of the students, the fans and the people of Auburn. It's like a culture all in its own. A culture of respect, friendship, compassion and family. A culture that's also filled with such intense competitiveness. Auburn just feels right at home and always has for me. The memories here are amongst the best for me and I will cherish them...

A place filled with so many historical memories echoing in the wind rustling throughout The Oaks, waiting for that NEXT wonderful event that brings us all to gather there yelling, cheering, celebrating & rolling after victory; adding to the wonderful memories of the Auburn Family!...

We absolutely love Toomer's corner. We frequently swing our hammocks there and my kids love to snag a popsicle from steel city pops. Lemonade from Toomer's drug is a must. The new design with the live oaks has also really impressed us. Auburn has done an excellent job at maintaining the grounds.
