This place should be named, uBreakiBreakEvenWorse. I brought my laptop in to replace a hinge that broke on my top assembly. This repair went well and they had my device repaired within 2 weeks. However, when I received my device back it was unable to charge while on. So I brought it back in and they could not figure out what was wrong. Fast forward 8 weeks, yes 8 weeks, I finally was able to charge my device like before. Yet again there was a problem, the screen was ghost touching and I couldn’t even enter my pin to unlock my laptop. So I brought it back in again that day and they were able to stop the ghost touching, but now my device no longer has touch screen capabilities. I ultimately decided I no longer want them working on my device and I was “content” because it could charge. However my device was never fixed and I was not able to receive any form of compensation for both the repair and inconvenience.
In addition to this, communication on their end was completely unprofessional. I was the one who constantly had to call them for updates on my device, even after they broke it and said they would keep me updated. They had called me on multiple occasions right before they closed (
Read moreFirst experience with auburn store has been a nightmare. Filed a 1st time repair through Samsung flip and fold program for the inner screen replacement for $250. Scheduled the appointment online. The inner screen was in store but not the outer screen. The outer screen had to be removed for the inner screen replacement. During the process of removing outer screen it cracked in several spots so they stopped the repair because not having outer screen in the store. Once the outer screen arrived, schedule another appointment for the screen(s) replacement. Here is the problem that has been going on for months now. Ubreakifix POLICY is they CANNOT leave a repair work order open over a couple days so it got closed after the intial repair started and outerscreen was odered and arrived. Because this was a ONE TIME screen replacement through Samsung, you can't go back in samsung flip and fold to initiate and work order because UBREAKIFIX policy to close a work order whether the repair was complete or not complete. Since then my outer screen cracks are chipping away and now it has damaged my speaker. If Ubreakifix is an AUTHORIZED SAMSUNG REPAIR DEALER, you would think that an authorized samsung represenative could get a repsonse from the SAMSUNG COMPANY, faster than 2 months. Left Auburn ubreakifix again today with the response as the last 10 times, ALL WE CAN DO IS EMAIL THEM...WE HAVE NO PHONE NUMBERS WE CAN CALL AND ACTUALLY TALK TO SOMEONE, WE CAN ONLY EMAIL. This partnership between an AUTHORIZED SAMSUNG REPAIR BUSINESS and the Samsung Company is broke, !!!!!WHO CAN...
Read moreThe people were courteous, I give them that, but overall I would have better off if I had never taken my tablet to them at all. It was running slow and took forever to load up. Now it is absolutely non-functional. It won't even turn on. So essentially your people killed it! Also I fail to understand why they couldn't cancel the warranty plan that I purchased when I took it in. They initiated it there. Why can't they cancel it there? After all, there's nothing to warranty now is there since my tablet is now deceased. Instead I'm given a phone number to call in order to cancel this stupid invalid warranty so I won't be charged for another month. Another hoop to jump through! This is so typical of the bladent disrespect that companies have for their customers nowadays. It is so frustrating to have to deal with all this crap. So now not only am I out $30 something bucks for a unsuccessful 'repair' on my machine, I have to call 'corporate' to please not charge my credit card for another month of warranty on a machine that their people killed. In the 'old days' the consumer would have been offered a complete refund, no questions asked. Now companies make it as difficult as they can. So will I ever look to Ubreakifix to ever fix anything I own ever again? Just read above and take a wild-ass guess. Just one...
