Premier Jewelers — Attraction in Battle Creek

So, I've been to premier quite a few times. My husband purchased a gorgeous pair of teardrop pearl earrings for a wedding gift (when the store was still both sides) a one of a kind beautiful pair is 2012. Helped pick out my brother's ring for his fiancee here. My most recent trip I brought in a platinum wedding set with blue diamond. Gorgeous ring, but not my size. They gave me a really fair price regarding sizing, but I ultimately decided to trade it in for multiple pieces. One of the items was a grape garnet omega type back pair of earrings. They were sold to me as gold. I wore them and they tore my ears up. Looked under a microscope and hidden in an obscure spot was the 925 marking for silver, plated in gold. When I discovered this, I took them in and told them what happened, and they seemed genuinely upset to have sold me something which was not what it claimed to be. They immediately asked if I would like to find another pair. Were very helpful and found me another pair of diamond buttercup screw back earrings. I was so pleased with the service, and the no question that it was an honest mistake was just a smooth transaction and situation overall. I wasn't even upset, just disappointed. But their reaction to the discovery was not something I think could be faked. They were genuinely appalled at the faux pas and were willing to do whatever necessary to make it right. I took my wife to Premier Jewelers in Battle Creek in search of the perfect 20 year anniversary ring. It was a surprise to her as we pulled into the parking lot. As we went in, I told her that I wanted her to pick out any ring that she wanted. I thought it would be nice if she got a platinum ring with emeralds since those are both 20 year anniversary themes.

We were greeted upon entering and a gentleman assisted us throughout the hour adventure of my wife pointing and trying on various rings. Since this was a surprise, she didn't enter with a plan at all. The employee was extremely patient with us and offered appropriate feedback. He helped my wife to find the perfect ring. In the end, we opted for a white gold ring with green diamonds.

Throughout the process, we learned that emeralds, while beautiful, are much softer and maybe wouldn't last as long as green diamonds. We also opted for the white gold band instead of the platinum band. The employee provided education about the pros and cons of both platinum and white gold. He did not push us to change our mind, but given the information he provided, we made an educated decision.

I would highly recommend Premier Jewelers as the place to go for fine jewelry. We were very happy with the experience and my wife can't wait for her custom order...

So this post was 5 years ago: Richard, the owner, is an expert in his field! He sat down with my husband and I for over an hour and discussed different designs for my existing diamond ring. His knowledge regarding diamonds, design and how it all comes together is amazing. What he did with my ring...well his new design made me speechless. I would highly recommend Premier Jewelers. The customer service by all who work there is superb!! 5 stars all the way around! I LOVE my new diamond ring!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻💍⭐️😊❤️ And fast forward to the present: Richard, again, showed his skills and expertise as a jeweler!! My husband and I sat down with him and showed him a picture of what we wanted my wedding ring to look like after a redesign. The details of this new design were very precise, with different shapes of diamonds and prongs. He took his time and showed me pictures of the ring as it progressed, making sure I was satisfied before moving on. When the ring was finished, my husband and I could not have been more pleased!!
