Pere Marquette Depot — Attraction in Bay City

My rating is based on my visual impression of the Depot, rather than any of the offices, organizations, etc. located within the building. The outside appearance is very nice, and brings back memories from childhood when it was still used as a bus depot (there were railroad tracks located along the western side, but those have long since been removed). It needs to be pointed out that this is a renovated version of the original building, rather than a restoration. There is no access (or - there wasn't the last time I checked) to the main tower - which would offer a nice view the surrounding area. The interior has been modified greatly from the old days when it was a wide-open waiting area. So, overall it does offer some nice exterior photography...

I had my wedding ceremony here on 9/8/12 and everything was beautiful! Kathy, the events coordinator, was so helpful during the whole planning process and worked to meet with me whenever worked for me since I live in Kentucky. She was so helpful and kind during our reception and even pointed out some great opportunities for pictures! The depot is a beautiful setting for a wedding and we loved having our ceremony there. I would highly recommend the Pere Marquette Depot to anyone looking to have an event in a very cool setting in Bay City....

I got married here on 11.17.18 and it was absolutely beautiful. We got so many compliments on the uniqueness of this venue, and event coordinator Kacie was great, and even packed up all our decorations for us. She was great in welcoming guests, working close with vendors, and calming down my wedding party. :) We signed our contract with Stella, who was also amazing. The building was clean, parking was easy to figure out, and my guests had a great time. Thank you all so much! I would definitely books this...
