Went in and had a couple cocktails the other night, and, let me tell you, it was fan-tastic!

However, drinking did lead to my need to visit the facilities a couple times and that's where my experience went to a whole new level.

I love the bathroom decor. Very minimalistic, very clean--which is very important when it comes to judging bathrooms. I appreciated the see-through storage cabinet, as I do not like running out of toilet paper while in the restroom. The cabinet showcased the forethought that went into stocking for this cocktail bar and prevents anxiety within those of us who constantly worry while in our most vulnerable of positions.

There was a single candle lighting the bathroom but overhead lights are available to the observant. The walls, like much of the interiors, are painted white, which is pleasing. I'm not making a political statement, rather, I just appreciate the way in which white things don't absorb as much light.

I was only able to see the men's room but got a peek at the women's room, too (only for the purposes of this review). There are a few minor differences that I noticed but I didn't have time to snap as many photos of the lady-john as I wished. However, I did try my darndest to get my traveling companion to go take pictures but she refused, saying I was "being weird." Nonetheless, I highly recommend both bathrooms at the Public House (but only for paying patrons!).

My only complaint about my experience was that I didn't know how to lock the bathroom doors, at first, which lead to a slightly awkward moment where I had to converse with a man as I was washing my hands. He asked me whether this was "a two person operation" or not. I'm not witty so I only said, "no." The lock to the door is located directly under the handle (one of the pictures highlights this feature so no one else has to experience such a crises again).

Anyway, the food and drinks at the public house are great so go check them out. The hand carved ice is totally see through because of the unique way in which they freeze their cubes.

Good luck to all the employees and the wonderful...

Contemporary custom cast concrete bar, original brick walls painted white, a living green wall backing up the bar, and simple furnishings are a welcome relief in a town that typically tilts toward fussy, eclectic antique choked spaces. My rye Manhattan was delicious! We had chicken, carne asada, and black bean mushroom tacos that had completely different, fresh flavor profiles, and a riff on a 'mushroom melt' sandwich with a side of sweet potato, cabbage cole slaw with fresh made aioli. All were delicious. I'm not a fan of fresh onions, but they were easily picked out and set aside. It was 6:45 PM on a Saturday evening, about 1/3 full, and the music was loud enough to clearly hear but didn't interfere with normal conversation. Compared to the urban prices I pay for comparable food and drink - it's a bargain. I only wish I could try their...

This is hilarious. Never in my 20 years bartending have I ever been this much of an ass 😂. To be excited to find a craft bar that makes fresh cocktails, I simply asked for a standard craft cocktail - Whiskey, Lemon, Simple. Add orange and basil (since they had fresh basil). Saw they used maple syrup so asked for that instead of simple…Okay so a upcharge for the maple. 🙄 I get it I’m being extra but not really.. it wasn’t difficult compared to the drinks on the menu and all the prepping that comes along with being behind that bar. I just wanted my simple Whiskey Mojito…

Also I’d understand if he’d charge for rocks for a rocks pour but he literally asked if I wanted it strained or over rocks. I said over rocks. Never in my life charged for ice to charge for the actual ICE…

And this is my receipt. 💀😂
