Donāt send your jewelry to this place.
First, I dropped off a bunch of silver coins ( to his assistant- to off set the price of my appraisal of 6 rings/ separated of course), to see if he wanted to buy the silver coins)
Two months later, I get a call that my appraisal is in. So I sit down next to him and he starts appraising the silver coins????
And I asked him what happened to my jewelry (6 diamond rings) that I wanted appraised? āHuh? I donāt know- were they in this bag?ā
He couldnāt find my jewelry anywhere!!!
He was only suppose to buy the silver coins I left/ It took an half hour for him to find my jewelry in the back while I waited. I was frantic at that point- what a dingbat!!!
Then I had to come back for my jewelry appraisal, and he said that my momās ring of 55 years was not real!!ā Which was appraised in six different states 10 years ago for 5 grand more than he FINALLY appraised it at ( and yes I do have the old appraisals and yes I did supply him with the old appraisals- on all my rings)
This jeweler is a hot mess. He doesnāt know what heās doing and he underestimated all of my jewelry- he gave me estimates from 15 years ago from my last appraisals. Donāt use this jeweler-heās senile and using..
Ps. And if it couldnāt get any worse, when I got home from getting my jewelry appraised from him- there was a small diamond missing out of my wedding ring. I took it back to him. I said it was missing a tiny diamond on the side). I dropped it off and my invoice that said 0 owed, and when I went to go pick it up. They wanted to charge me $325 for the stone. But her wedding ring we bought ended up not coming in. We ordered everything a month in advance and he told us it will be in within a week and he'd call us. We got no call so we gave it a week and called him and he said it will be in the next week. Then we called again and he said it's going to be here tomorrow. Tomorrow comes he said the same thing, it'll be here tomorrow. So I come in this time the night before our wedding and he says it'll be there tomorrow and he can deliver it to us before the wedding. I told him no. It's too late and we wanted our money back so he did. This all could have been avoided had he called us when things started to get delayed and kept communicating with us.
