St Laurent Brothers — Attraction in Bay City

If there was a way to give less than 1 star I would. Went here today for my birthday anniversary and soon as we walked in there were other patrons in the store. We were greeted and the young lady asked if she could help us with anything and her and the guy followed us all the way to the other side of the store. My partner had already replied that we were there for some ice cream. There was so much to see I begin admiring everything and kept walking throughout the syore. My partner just followed me encouraging me to pick something to remember the moment and place. He noticed they had carmel popcorn and suggested I get some. I picked that up. I noticed they had starburst straws and suggested he get that so I picked that up. The young lady asked if she could help me with anything I said I'm still looking. My partner suggested I get some cashew brittle I did she helped me and then asked afterwards if she could help me with something else. I told her again I'm still looking. She said well you can sit your things down on the counter. I was a bit shocked as other patrons held things in their hands. I sat the two items down anm My partner had enough. I saw him walking out and followed. Really left a bad view about this place and the people...

My wife and I were very disappointed tonight as we were in town for the apps and ales. The event was from 5p-9:30p and in the back of the book was a ticket for a treat from St. Laurents. We arrived at 9:03pm and they began shutting off the lights as I knocked on the door. Three employees looked at me but did not acknowledge me at all. There was no indication that they would be closed before the end of the event. If it is the last item in the book it should be open until the end. And it was very rude of the employees to not acknowledge me at all. I am very disappointed. We also tried emailing the email address on your website and it is invalid.

Update I received an email with the business hours. The email address on the website is invalid but there is another link to email. This is unsatisfactory as again the event ran until a later time and the treat was advertised as the last item in the event booklet. I am very dissatisfied with the lack of customer service. The response stated that they would look into the issue for next year. Maybe I will try them again in a year and see if they have...

I love the candy and ice cream a ton. On nice days I will take my son walking and we will stop in for ice cream. I just wish they did at least in the summer. Sell candy individually. I love the snowballs but couldn't get a bunch or they would have melt. I asked for one while my son got a ice-cream. I did get one but it was 2$. When I have gotten more than one and a few oreos the total was 4 something. Maybe a suggestion, have a price if someone wanted to try the candy or only wanted one and not a bunch at a time. Like 1$ per snowballs or oreo, whatever you think is fair. No way 1 small snowball was 2 $ in weight. Js. I do like this place but I'd go more when I am just walking and wanted 1 tasty snack or maybe even to try something new. I'll pay and noy asking for free samples but you have alot to try and I don't want to spend 22 or more per pound on something I am not sure of or if I just wanted one snack while my son had his. I recommend this business, just maybe an idea for the summer people walking around in the heat and can't get a bunch in fear...
