ImageWorks - The "What If" Labs — Attraction in Bay Lake

Similar to the ride here, this area is but a shell of its former self, an outdated reminder of how things used to be. There is some fun to be had here, but not much. My kids seem to enjoy the bits of old school image works which still exist, such as the noise pads, but even this area which is much smaller than the old image works feels empty and underutilized. Hopefully some day they'll find a way to make this area lively again, right now it feels like a dead zone where people sit to wait for their kids to realize that half the machines...

It's weird how much my toddler enjoyed it for not really knowing what was going on. It was shockingly good for someone as small as her. She loved the ride here and the different musical exhibits. There was a lot to offer in terms of imagination, play, and education. From different instruments to learning cause and effects, pitches and tones, this is a great stop. There is so much wasted potential here. Disney has long been known as a pioneer in innovation and imagination but I'm afraid that that era is over. The entire upstairs which used to be open to guests is now reserved for Vacation Club members. I'd like to see this portion opened to the public again (most notably the rainbow tunnel which was a favorite of Michael Jackson) as it would bring back fond...
