Normally I'd have given this 5 stars and even more if they'd allow it. Everyone always seems helpful. Zack (If I spelled it wrong I am sorry) is ALWAYS helpful. The people who work in print and laminating are wonderful as well. But the employee with the purple hair has left me in tears with her accusations and attitude. I had gone to get my "free post it notes" along with 4 of every color .25 folders to make up backpacks for local children. The 2nd to last time I was in there I asked the employee that checked me out if the discount for teachers included home educators as well. She helped me download the app and find my coupons and everything was great. I didn't know if that was a one time thing or an all the time thing so when we got to the register I asked her about the teacher coupon discount. She said if I already used it that it was a one time thing. I said ok, thanks. My husband went to pay with debit and told her she rang up one too many folders. She recounted and found out she did, fixed it and we left. I went to start filling backpacks and find no post it's. I explained the situation to the manager on the phone this morning, who told me that even if it didn't show on the receipt she'd just give them to me and when she left she'd tell the night crew the same. No such luck. The same employee made sure she was up front. Told me she informed me I couldn't use it again last night. I told her she did not and that she said I couldn't use the teacher coupon again. She insisted and then said "I remember you had 2 Amazon receipts returns and like 28 folders that I had to count several times." I told her no, I had the folders and post it's. She kept insisting and clearly they weren't on the receipt. She tried looking it up even though I had the email one. She had told me she would have return one folder to ring it up and recharge me. She began scanning my coupon and products at the counter and then tells me the coupon was no good. It had been used. I kept explaining that she could check the cameras because I most certainly didn't use it. I asked her to get the manager who said she would make sure I got them and she told me no because she was there and knew what happened. She said she wasn't risking her job over it. I asked again to please get the manager and she got loud and said "FINE! FINE! I'LL GIVE THEM TO YOU! I'M RISKING MY JOB OVER THIS!" as she stormed to the back yelling "THIS IS RIDICULOUS!" I'm a very sensitive person so by then I was in tears and saying about her making me look like a liar when she was lying. Laugh it you will but multi trauma PTSD does that to a person. I left out calling my brother crying as went to his vehicle. I don't know why this employee acted that way nor behaved that way but the only reason she'd be risking her job is over how she provides customer service. Listening is essential. Manners are a must. When someone asks for a manager get them. As for me, I'll probably be waiting on an apology I never will get. Thankfully I am a crier. She needs to realize not everyone is. Maybe next time she won't get a...
Read moreI frequent the print shop at Staples. I do not have a home printer and frequently need to print off invoices to ship at the UPS kiosk at this Staples location. I'm always prepared with my document ID from Printme. The staff in the print department is always super helpful. In fact, everyone in the store has been helpful- even a guy there helped me last week with an issue I was having (trying to get music on my phone for exercising). Yesterday, I went to the Print shop and printed 3 pages, not realizing that I had lost my wallet. I searched in my car and could only come up with 22 cents and no wallet. I owed them like 10 cents, which isnt much, but underr the circumstances, felt like a lot. I never like oweing anyone money, not even a dime. The girl at the Print Shop was really cool about it and genuinely said she hoped I found my wallet. I just think this store is great and i go in there about 3 or 4 times a week now. I also notice that people from other departments always come over to help when lines get...
