I attended over Memorial Day Weekend, and I'll admit that I was a little overwhelmed at first. The other patrons were extremely disorganized and annoying, lines were jumbled and ambiguous, and it just was unnecessarily chaotic. Patrons with children and strollers were the absolute worst, especially since I witnessed them push their strollers into the legs of other people just trying to walk a straight line.
I stuck with it, and around 11:30 - 12:00, the lines died down enough to actually shop without waiting a lifetime just to browse inventory.
The vendors were fantastic. No complaints whatsoever. There were so many things to try and look at, and that's what really made the experience. Every single vendor took time to talk whether I bought anything or not, and that was most memorable. I ended up spending over $200 throughout my visit.
The only reason I'm giving 4 ⭐s is because the other patrons were on their trash behavior as they usually are around Beaverton these days.
My best advice is to go towards the end if you don't want to put up with large crowds in a small area. You can catch a lot of vendors right before they close, and some even take their time packing up, because they know not all of their customers show up early due to the crowds.
Special shout out to the honey stand. That CBD honey...

Made a special trip to the Beaverton’s Farmers Market to buy the most beautiful flowers available. May’s Produce and Flowers are absolutely the best. The price for perfection? Unbelievably low! Why mention this vendor for a bad review of Hotdogitty? They are located adjacent to each other at the market. I was hungry and wanted a cheap quick treat. Did not check the price. Why, it is only a hit hot dog and a bottle of water. I heard the vendor say “$14.00”. Did not think he was talking to me. He was! I was a bit shocked but paid him. My fault for ordering without checking their price. Could not enjoy enjoy eating what actually was a decent dog. Kept thinking about how many Costco dogs I had eaten, for$1.50, including my soft drink. Afterwards, I walked around the market and realized that this market had amazing food choices. You name it, you can find it. An international feast! I also noted that my hot dog from Hotdogitty was more expensive that just about anything else being sold. $12.00 for a hot dog! A bold price! Some people pay will pay it. Some reluctanctly. Once! Did I mention how beautiful...
Read moreI visited the Beaverton Farmers Market several times throughout this year and each time was absolutely wonderful. It is the perfect place to support local farmers, artist, and business owners. If you don't live within walking distance, you will have to find street parking. However, it is a beautiful walk on level sidewalks. Bring your own tote or wagon to load up on goodies. If you have kids, there is a park with playground a few blocks down and the market is directly across from the library. You can really spend the whole day there. They often have live music playing and the market is close to other area businesses and eateries. There are a variety of vendors with everything you can imagine. You can find organic seasonal veggies, sourdough bread, eggs, handmade chocolate, bath & body products, and fresh cut flowers. There are also a few food carts with coffee and ice cream. From berry season to pumpkin season, I have been able to make a zillion delicious recipes from ingredients I found at the market. This year's season is now closed but be sure to pop by when they reopen for the 2023 season. Bon...
