Actually I would give them a "MINUS ONE STAR!!!!". I have shop here many times and have worked 30 years in retail so I what a thankless job it is. I finished my shopping, a bit of a line, no worries I'll browse some more. I head up and there are 19 people ahead of me. Maybe the guys new and does know to call anybody. I find a clerk stocking Halloween and tell her the line is done aisle 9 and is there a backup cashier? She responded there should be to other backups on hand, but made move to help. I rounded the store, no one. I was going back in line again and spotted another clerk crouching behind the register 2 spots away from the line. I'm assuming doing shop back or some other task. I asked if she could help cashier? She replied there would be another cashier up as soon as she finished her break. She never even looked up at me. I went back in line, this is the point we get down to 19 which I am and 6 people are behind me now. I didn't expect miracles but they could have at least lied, apologize and said only one register was working, OR SOMETHING. I know it's retail hell but it's wasn't a holiday rush or a weekend. We're talking 6:30 on a Monday night and I know at least 5 people were working. It saddens me to do this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe store and the staff are great...however, the "customers" leave a lot to be desired. While I was waiting in line to pay, a man and a woman decided to take several pool noodles and have a "sword" fight with each other while blocking people from entering or leaving the store...all the while laughing hysterically at themselves loudly. As that was ending another man and woman who had purchased several bags of items, decided they were going to take the carts out of the store instead of using the handles on the bags to carry them out like normal people. Due to theft or abuse the store has had to attach 10 ft poles on their carts so that they cannot go thru the door. Well, this brainiac decided he would just slam the cart and the pole against the doorframe, all the while complaining about how annoying it was to him, and how it inconvenienced him. Seriously...why are some people such morons and so abusive to other people and other peoples...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGary and Ivy were very rude, they yelled at me for trying to use my phone to pay, she kept saying in a high yelling sound that it won't work even if it looks like it's working and then I'll have to use the card again, I've paid with my phone so many times before at this same store. She didn't even let me try. It's not about whether using the card or phone, it's about manners and how to talk to customers. When my husband asked to see a manager coz of her rudeness, Gary yelled at us from the next by register saying (she's the manager, leave the store, goodbye, go, thanks for the harassment). Seriously!!! I doubt that she's the manager coz minutes before this instant, another cashier called for a manager and Ivy was there and some lady answered on their intercom speaker that she, the manager, will be there in few minutes. It's not the customer's fault if you're paid minimum wage and don't like your job. Respect should...
