GNC — Local services in Beaverton

When I was waiting to pay in line, I overheard a few “interesting” conversations between the seller and a few customers. The best one was when a customer was purchasing a product with the purpose to lose weight, the customer asked about the quality of the product, and the answer from the seller was that allegedly another customer lost 8 lb (or 9 lb?) in one week, taking it, without adding anything else to the explanation. After that, I definitely lost faith in GNC.

When I go there, somehow, I end up hearing stories about prodigious products and other nonsense stuff. So far, the staff does not seem to have real knowledge of the products they sell, nor of the products on the market.

Worst GNC around. Employee tells me about rewards program and says it’s only $4 with all of the benefits. Without my knowledge he adds $40 membership to my order. I check the receipt and complain to him and he says he misspoke and there’s nothing they can do to refund the membership. I call next day to speak with a manager about it and they say there’s nothing they can do and hang up on me. Avoid this...

I walked in and an employee is asking me question from the opposite side of the store making me walk all the way over to him (He's stocking shelves). I tell him that I'm looking for Tiger Balm, he laugh hysterically and looks at the other employee who also starts laughing and say "That stuff hasn't been around for years, you might try Walmart.
