Let me share my experience with this Valvoline Quick Oil Change. It's clear that the service I received was not up to standard, and the consequences for me were extensive and burdensome.
It's unacceptable that they had to resort to watching YouTube tutorials to change my car's transmission fluid. This situation was made worse by the fact that they overfilled my transmission fluid, leading to damages that required me to have them remediated by a certified transmission specialist and rent a vehicle in order to continue earning income through doordash to pay for their damages.
The impact of their mistake on my livelihood is evident in the 30 days of strenuous 10 - 12 hours a day work I had to endure, without any days off, just to cover the expenses and get my car back. Such a significant disruption to my life was deeply concerning and had almost completely destroyed my life.
Valvoline Quick Oil Change's lack of attention to detail and care for their customers' well-being is evident in my experience. I was disheartened from the hardship and inconvenience I faced as a direct result of their negligence.
I hope my feedback will prompt Valvoline Quick Oil Change to reevaluate their policies, procedures, and customer care to provide better service and prevent similar hardships for their customers in the future. The Better Business Bureau has them listed as a 1.1 star reviewed company. They will not accredit them in any way. They are that bad. They have 530+ cases closed and 200+ cadrs still being remediated through the BBB. They will find every excuse to shurk responsibility. I have it in writing and fully documented the entire mess they created. When I contacted customer care, Suzanne told me to have my attorneys contact their legal department. Just proves they are snake oil salesmen digging in your pocket for money and giving uncertified work. Watching YouTube to figure out how to change the transmission fluid is not a certified tech that should be working on your car. I went there for normal transmission fluid services and left there 1500 in the hole. I pushed my body into sickness to pay my bills that they caused. Please do not go here and experience what I have and what other people have I wish I would have read these reviews before I ever went to this place or even dealt...
Read moreI usually do my own oil changes at home, but I came here this morning because I had a stripped screw that prevented me from removing my skid plate to do my own oil change this morning.
Firstly, as business owner, I wouldn’t advertise a 15min oil change if you’re unable to deliver that to your customers. It’s better to under promise and over deliver rather than to do the reverse. It seems to be a common theme in these reviews that people are having to wait an 1hr + to receive service. I was in line for about an 1 hour and 15min, and thought about leaving but was already too committed to the line.
Advertising a 15min service and not delivering is borderline deceitful and an unethical way to bring business—when you do this, you’re robbing people of their most valuable commodity, which is their time. Setting the right expectations around service times to your customers will make you a better business.
That’s not my biggest complaint—I understand that locations could be over worked & understaffed. My biggest concern was the quality of the job. The young woman that assisted me was very sweet in checking me in, draining my oil and explained the different service options really well, but it was obvious that despite her trying her best, nobody was readily able to assist her when she was needing an answer to a question.
The reason I’m writing this review, is because the guy working under my car that removed my filter, did not properly re-install the skid plate underneath my car. He had told me that the stripped screws that held the skid plate in place had been replaced, and that my car was good to go. All it took, is for me to drive over a speed bump, to hear the metal dragging on the road. Moreover, after getting home and inspecting it not only did I see the shoddy job he did in re-installing my skid cover, but also my car was now leaking an unknown substance. As I was looking at the job at home, I could see it leaking puddles in my driveway.
I plan on returning tomorrow in hopes that your establishment can have better attention to detail, and make this right for me. This review isn’t a bash on your business, it’s an opportunity for you...

Waited for 3 hours for an oil change. Yeah, no problem, short staffed, I understand the wait time sometimes.
Mr. James, the manager, checks my vehicle, says he will change the engine oil, shows me 2 options, I select the fully synthetic one, $98. Cool.
Then he shows me the engine air filter which he says has gone bad and needs to be replaced. I said how much? He says $24.99, I say ok. Cool.
Then he comes and says he will do a "complete fuel treatment", normally $19.99, today it's for $5, I said ok.
I got a $25 coupon which he honors. Fair play.
I was then asked to pay $126 which was more than I expected, so I asked for the breakdown BEFORE I paid. He said I'll get it to my email and that the printer broke. I trusted him, so I paid the complete amount.
I checked the invoice which came after 3-4 mins and to my surprise, I paid the complete $19.99 for that fuel treatment. I asked him why and he couldn't give me an answer properly. I wasn't offered a refund even though he knew I wasn't happy with what happened there.
The upselling and cross selling is part of any business and I understand it but being dishonest is the worst thing that can happen to a business.
I would suggest you to not go here but in case if you are heading here, and if Mr. James is taking care of your vehicle, please follow this:
Ask him to speak up bcoz you can hardly hear him and he can charge you for something which you haven't asked for. If he's offering any other services or replacements, just say nope. Always ask for the invoice before paying. Ask him to not lie to people.
Also, the building is so poorly designed that once you enter the queue, you cannot go out. If you see a lot of cars here, just don't...
