Iāve been a loyal customer of Best Buy for over 10 years, having purchased appliances, entertainment centers, and more, each time receiving what I would call legendary service. Unfortunately, my recent experience at the Bellflower location was far from satisfactory.
My mother-in-law visited the store with my husband, hoping to purchase a new refrigerator and have a positive experience. She had already chosen the product she wanted. After consulting with one employee who couldn't assist much, they were referred to the manager, Jessenia. Regrettably, this encounter turned out to be one of the worst customer service experiences my family has ever encountered.
My mother-in-law is handicapped, and they spent considerable time at the store to ensure we made the right purchase decision. Jessenia made this entire process a nightmare. When we tried to show her the damage on the refrigerator, she refused to even look at it and was rigid about the price, not even considering a discount despite the product's condition being less than excellent.
Ultimately, we had to go to another Best Buy location farther away, which was highly inconvenient. However, at that location, we not only received an incredible price for the same product but also exceptional service from the employees who assisted us, particularly Danny Hernandez, who went out of his way to help my handicapped mother.

The woman that helped me purchase the fridge was wonderful. I let her know my step father would be picking up the fridge the following day. It was the team that helped my step father that was downright terrible. They first claimed they did not have any fridge under my name or his name even though the woman from the day before wrote his name down. My step dad found the exact fridge we purchased with a higher price tag listed on the floor. It is absurd that my step dad had to go on a scavenger hunt to find the fridge. The fact that the employees can lie in our face and say the fridge is not avaliable/was not purchased is something I cannot even fathom. It is not my fault or problem that the price listed was incorrect. As a best buy credit card holder, I cannot understand the run around. Why couldn't the employee look for the transaction on their end? They have access to all transactions from the previous days. To top things off the fridge was labeled as excellent condition but it's been nearly 24 hours and the fridge has not cooled.
