Ordered 5×7 invites, and they aren't trimmed, aren't 5×7, can't be cut to 5×7 without cutting off the text, and are paper thin. I don't have time to re-order, so I'm going to have to make due.
Ordered last year (left) from Office Max, and the quality was amazing! I was expecting the same.
This year's product (same store, same location) looks like a 10 year old printed it on a home computer/printer rather than a professional business. I had specifically asked what size and that I wanted 5×7, and said yes to cutting. I also asked about cardstock options and was kind of dismissed. I had to call to check on my order status as I never received a call when the order was complete.
Upon picking up the invite & questioning the product, I was told that the staff was new and it was a "miscommunication." This was before I got home and measured the invite to realize that it wasn't measured correctly.

Read moreTook 20 minutes to be helped while one person was stocking shelves and another was aimlessly wandering around. Our check was declined because they have a messed up system. We had to go to the bank and got money out of the same account that was declined. The girl at the bank said that she used to work at Office Max and that they al ways had problems with declined checks but if the information was put in manually it usually went through. Later I looked at the receipt and was charged for 2 ink cartridges but only had 1. Hubby called and was told by the guy that worked there "I can't get it to you through the phone". All he wanted to know was what he needed to do to get it taken care of. Alot of unnecessary trips and stress that could have been avoided if the employees had been on the ball. I went to Office Max over the weekend, and the experience was awful. The store was completely empty, yet the employee working the copier couldn’t be bothered to help with a simple, single photocopy. To make matters worse, she asked me to leave my document until Monday — this was on Friday! It’s mind-blowing that they wouldn’t assist with something so basic, especially when the store wasn’t even busy claiming the photocopy area is for big orders. This kind of lazy, unhelpful service is unacceptable. Avoid this place if you actually need assistance! When I spoke to the store manager, I reached no resolution. There is indeed no excuse for poor customer service. If someone has a disability and isn’t able to use the self serve machine they would be screwed. No wonder these stores are going out...
