I don't leave reviews often, but felt this one was necessary. We will never shop here again based on our experience last week. We've been frequent visitors to Three Sisters Fudge over the years and went in again this year for our summer vacation to introduce my mother to the shop. My mother has been on the hunt for the perfect/creamy praline and thought she would give Three Sisters a whirl. She asked the counter clerk if there were samples at all given before she purchased and she was told not with the pralines. I understood that, but also point out there was a broken one in the back that no one would like purchase. When I point that out the attitude started. We made our purchases and hoped that the pralines would be creamy rather than gritty. When we got back to our cabin, we tried them and they were horribly gritty and not creamy at all. Everyone makes them different which is why we asked for a sample. My mother saved them, saved the receipt and decided when we were back in town that she would go in and see if she could get the same weight in fudge instead; since she spent $27.00 on a few pralines. She was again met with attitude and told that she could not get the same weight in fudge. Having owned a very successful family business in AL for fifteen years, I can tell you that we will not be coming back in for business. I'm not upset that the pralines were to her liking, that's completely acceptable. I'm upset in the manner in which she was spoken to (both on the purchase and on the return visit in) and as a small business how they were unwilling to provide good 'ole southern hospitality and...
Read moreFirst off, I hate leaving bad reviews. The owners really need to check one of their staff members quickly. We recently visited Three Sisters Fudge on a family trip, eager to sample some homemade fudge. My experience was a mix of pleasant and frustrating. One staff member was incredibly welcoming, taking the time to explain and introduce us to their offerings. She was great. However, this was abruptly interrupted by another younger employee with a nose ring and red hair. She seemed impatient and unprofessional(putting it kindly) curtly interrupting her colleague and essentially hurrying us through our order. Here’s a tip: Take your AirPod out and focus on your job, and take care of your customers. Her attitude was noticeably off-putting, not just to us but also to other customers and her coworker. Business owners should be aware that one poor attitude can significantly impact the overall experience as well as the moral of other good employees. I am a food service business owner and I would never allow this and this person would be out of my business so fast. I hope they address this to ensure future customers have a more consistently positive visit. I can see from other reviews that this seems to be an ongoing problem here. She was there this afternoon working. Terrible employee,...
Read moreI'm a local that usually has a pleasant experience a three sisters. When I went yesterday, I asked for a snow cone and 1/4 of fudge. The young lady who made the snow cone was friendly, kind, and helpful. She ran me through the list of flavors and gave me a recommendation when I asked for it. When I asked for my fudge, the girl originally gave me the version with nuts- I didn't ask for that. Totally fine! Everyone makes mistakes, it happens. I tried telling her when she was getting it that it was the wrong one, but I dont think she heard me. When I told her again, the fudge was already on the scale and I was at the register. The girl ringing me up was rude, and told me with a poor attitude that I have to tell someone else what I want. I already did? She was putting back the fudge she mistakingly grabbed. Once the other girl brought more fudge, which, once again, was not I asked for, I gave up, paid, and left. I understand the store is busy right before the holidays. However, if the ladies at the beginning can do their jobs well, there isn't an excuse for the ladies at the end to have poor customer service. I debated posting this, as I'm not usually one to even post reviews, but after reading other reviews, though, it seems I'm not the only one who has had a poor...
