We were visiting our son in Boone and someone suggested we go to the farmers market and I’m so glad they did. This farmers market is much larger than what I’m used to. I love seeing all of the organic and grass fed options as well as the makers of handmade and art.
I picked up a lovely dress for my Maileg bunny from Mary of Mountain country creations.
I also met Larson of Sunshine Cove Farm, which is located in Valle Crucis. He offers micro-greens (which are my favorite).
I walked straight back to the historical log cabins and I met some people that are part of the Southern Appalachian historical Association & Hickory Ridge history Museum For around 5 dollars you can do a self-guided tour. Be sure to check that out.
Happy Exploring...

Dogs are not allowed within the farmers...
