Read moreThe new and much expanded location for Our Lady of Good Voyage. The older “Fisherman’s Chapel” was a very small chapel over by where the ICA is now (I think Gather is on that plot now). While the old chapel had a certain old time charm it was small & dark- but the new space is big and bright. Stained glass windows adorn the chapel on both sides and behind the alter. The Lady of Good Voyage has a small enclave as you walk in. The model ships hung along side the stained windows are all Boston area built ships- you’ll spot the Constitution if you look careful. Read moreBeautiful spiritual oasis, minutes from Logan Airport. They have Daily Catholic Mass at 7:30 am and 12:10 pm. Mon-Fri. Very convenient if you have a morning flight into Logan, you can make that mid day Mass(only 30mins) and priests available for confession before and after Mass. The shrine is only a couple years old but the architecture and art work reminiscent of an old European chapel.
