SoWa Vintage Market — Attraction in Boston

A great collection of vintage sellers but the owner is aggressive and erratic. I visited a few years ago when I lived in Boston and happened to be writing down some notes on a convo my partner and I were having that were totally unrelated to the market, not knowing I was standing next to the owners stall. She started accusing me of taking notes on the market in order to compete with her. It was so very bizarre and shocking. I tried to explain that I was writing down my personal thoughts that were completely unrelated to the market but she didn’t listen. She kept yelling and accusing me and my partner and it was heartbreaking because I used to love going there. Now I’ll never go back. It was so rude. The owner (in addition to having an unnecessarily unpleasant attitude many times we've visited) charges a 20% surcharge to use a credit card. In the state of Massachusetts, this is illegal. Attorney General Consumer Advocacy and Response Divisions should know. Edit: owner's reply says they remember us and it was about a scarf. It was about a belt which they quoted as $10, not discounted in any way, and then simply increased to $12 when I asked to pay by credit because I didn't have cash or zelle. Finally had a sunday off from work so i took the chance to check out the market on my own for the first time! Unfortunately, rough first experience :( I got accused of stealing a sweater and ended up basically chased down by an employee who stopped me while I was browsing the outside Open Market area.
