After first getting out for fresh air and local venues its always a wondderful experience and great pleasure to stop in at the Yakima Fruit standing Kenmore Market, the excellent produce, and the toppings!),and the unexpected surprise right?!Another local ( Seattle ,Kenmore Lk.City area),shopper's dreamlike pleasant-take-your-time adventure in the managrd varieties of,fruuts, veggies( still in season mostly in Washington state)and other add-ons such as Honey variety sizes and studio cards,Corn Stalks, and basically a friendly shopping trip time, and ooen air market enclosed! I personally like tbe sales staff, newsletter by owner, and moderate prices! Get your Pumpmin carving kits beforehand! Chief Seattle would have approved I imagine...Deb Purdy

I like Yakima Fruit Market’s fruits and vegetables. I’ve been coming for years. But I have never been somewhere that constantly screws up checkout as much as this place. Today, I bought one bell pepper and was charged an $8 jar of bread and butter pickles, which I didn’t notice until I came home. Something like this seems to happen 1/3rd of the time I shop here. Obviously, I should have noticed it. But the screen is not easy to see from the checkout lane, and scrutinizing receipts when leaving is not something I’ve been trained to do. I don’t like complaining, and I dislike having to come back and argue screw ups on a receipt even more. This is enough to make me second-guess coming here so often.

We have been coming here for local produce in the Summer for a while but our favorite visits are for the holidays. We have been coming here for seven years now to get our family tree. The little rooster actually means a lot to me now since these rooster pictures with my son have replaced santa pics- if I could suggest anything it would be to bring back the cute rooster backgrounds that have been missing for the last couple of years! Always great customer service and fresh items!

Love love love the fruit market! Been coming here for maybe 15 years now. I moved about an hour and a half away so I make it a point to swing by whenever I’m in the area. I have even made special trips just to go there. Their prices are fantastic, the products and produce top notch. The signage is cute, colorful and fun with helpful information for deciding what to buy. The people who run things are lovely. Staff always great. Always clean and organized. I look forward to their posts on social media about what they have going on. They’ve gotten me up there this way more than once to buy something special that came in. So charming with the seasonal things they do like opening for the holidays or special offerings during throughout the year. Fantastic location for taking pictures. Really great local products that are for you, but also make unique gifts for out of town family far from home. So thankful the community fought for this place when it was threatened by public transportation (I support public transportation but not at the expense of priceless community treasures like the fruit market). I hope the market stays around for many generations to come to enjoy. It was painful enough when we lost the country village. Thank you for providing us with...

I stopped in here during covid (June) and was appalled that they weren't following similar safety standards of other stores. While I was in the store shopping, customers maintained distancing but 3 seperate male staff brushed past me. Literally brushing my shoulder or back, even while I was checking out!! Today, I went back because I like to support local and small business, and I call and spoke the a guy who assured me they had a product I was searching for however he never actually looked and they didn't have it!! I know not all the staff there are terrible, in fact I've worked with the produce buyer for my business. All the women that work there have gone above and beyond to help and are never too busy. WHAT IS WITH THESE UNHELPFUL STOCK GUYS WITH NO UNDERSTANDING OF PERSONAL SPACE OR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I would ask the manager to work on training but with the high risk of covid, I just don't think...

I wish i didn't have to leave one star.. the fruit and vegetables are outstanding. I was in there today with my good friend and we shared a cart. And had our purchase separate. Go to check out and, a checker by the name of Heidi .I told her that our purchase was separate as she started grabijg random food out of cart, I told her to stop as she was grabing my stuff and my friends. She literally pushed my cart into me and told us that she was to busy and to go to another line and separate our food. Our food already was separated I told her she was making it busy by all of what she created. Myself and my friend was treated rude, was completely Bullied by her. And we were completely embarrassed.. I called and spoke with the manager and he didn't sound very pleased with her aditude.

Im 58 years of age and im Disabled and she push that cart into me hard enough to all most make me...
