Bountiful City Farmers Market — Attraction in Bountiful

Things that I love:

The food Trucks. All local and really great. If you haven't tried a Bee's Knee Waffle, or Front Porch Lemonade, you are really missing out. Access to locally grown produce. meats, and dairy products at a fair price

Things I wish would change:

Get rid of/ban all the MLM/Snake Oil vendors. It's a FARMERS market. Update the vendors to reflect that. In my mind, the only things that should be allowed to be sold are locally grown/raised food, meats, cheeses, etc along with food from local vendors/food trucks, and MAYBE products that are made by local people. However it's important to not let it turn into a craft mall/boutique! Bountiful has plenty of those already. Better controls on what can and can't be sold would improve this place immensely! Better organization. It's a nightmare trying to park and navigate the market. After visiting other farmers markets in small towns, Bountiful has a lot of room for...

Great people and excellent productions by local artisans and crafts people... (Got a funky attitude or know someone who does?) Stop by and say hi to Max Tolman and get yourself an attitude adjuster! 5$ only! Clears things up real quick... and then walk away happy with a new walking stick only 20 bucks and yes they have a compass in them! Live music!!! by great local artists and aspiring young hopefuls... Good time, well spent and you can't beat the Bee's knees when it comes to waffles... Oh yeah! Just saying eggettes are the best! Dang!!! Say hey to Lee (Sergei)... He's the actual reason it's called the Bee's knees! Honestly... hand up, best...

Poorly organized, grave lack of communication and promotion, and totally missed potential! This could be a great, thriving market, but complete laziness makes that difficult. We tried contacting multiple numbers found on the market sites...all either wrong numbers or refusal to respond. Location listings are wrong, vendors are not correctly represented, even the days and times vary based on what site you're looking at! What a wreck! Pull it together! And please stop paying to have mine, and other negative reviews removed! That information is also publicly obtainable, btw...Just fix the issues and make it better, and people won't write...
