I want to start off by saying I have been here many times with my family. Like it is my favorite place to go every time we are in Branson which is a lot. Tonight was no different except for the fact I had my 7 month old baby in his stroller. (Because they have carts that don’t hold a baby.) My children and I were sitting in a booth looking at stickers. That ranged from .25-.50. Going through all of them for almost an hour while each child took turns pushing the baby. During this hour of me sitting in the floor going through stickers. The male worker came over to the booth pretended to hang stuff up. Watching me and my younger daughter sitting on the floor. He watched me as I went and got my husband the cart and told my children to walk and not run through their store. All the while looking at us which made me feel uncomfortable. We get done we go to the counter with my husband and his cart of items since we separated during my sticker search! The three workers were oddly being rude. Not talking to us during the transaction. First time the asked for our ID when we paid with the card. As we are about to walk out. The male worker asked if we have anything we want to admit too basically. I’m like no because at this point I was confused as all get out. Looking at my kids to see if they had any idea as well as my husband. Then he says that PD is outside waiting for us. (Not true, and upsetted my kids. Ages 13, and 9) then he said well check the stroller, all that was in there was our Silver Dollar City map and my lactation cookies wrapper. He then tells us that he watched my daughter sit a sticker in the stroller. That in MO that is stealing. Which I get. What I don’t get is the fact that you had multiple opportunities to say something. Especially with it being a child. Waited until we were going out the door after we already paid. Which makes me feel like getting our money was your main priority instead of making sure that I was aware of what was going on with my children. I am not one that usually only leaves a review if it’s bad. And honestly, if it wasn’t for this encounter, I would’ve easily gave this place five stars. But now I don’t know if I will ever go back there. I will recommend to my friends that have children, that they avoid this place. That was so humiliating and could have been...
Read moreSo this place here, I have never felt so violated or pissed off in my whole life, I am a local to Branson I do a lot of antique restoration projects, I collect and sell antiques and I frequent all the flea markets at least once a week, we tonight my partner and I went into the apple tree mall for something to do. We walk in and the moment we walked in, this blonde middle-aged rude person, thought we were up to no good, she literally followed us around the entire mall thinking we had stolen something haha.. so we are carrying on our own business not caring about the person watching our every move as she is on her phone with other coworkers, she literally had every single employee following us by the time it was said and done , I picked out my items I wanted we walked to the counter to pay for them, she just happened to be our cashier, she wouldn't let us buy 2 of the items a puppy blanket and a pair of sunglasses, I told her that's fine savez me the money, I paid for my items and as she hands me my change I told her that I'm not a thief and I pay for the items I want she looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language and said don't give me sass or you'll be tresspassed, I asked her for what for coming into the store to buy a few items? If that's a reason to tresspass someone then go ahead do it, as we were walking out the door she screams across the store for all the other customers to see and hear she yells your tresspassed don't come back here!! She is just upset that she didn't catch herself a thief, and she felt embarrassed and if imagine she felt dumb for telling the entire staff that were stealing and had no evidence to prove it! After this experience they couldn't pay me enough to come spend my hard earned money in this run down mall! You lost some good customers today...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at this store. The staff treated me poorly, and I wouldn't recommend going there. I purchased a comic book, but when I tried to shop again, they unexpectedly asked me to leave without any explanation. I believe in maintaining professionalism, and unfortunately, their business practices didn't meet that standard. I think it's worth exploring other stores that offer better deals and similar products. I suggest checking out the shops in downtown Branson for better prices, as Apple Tree Mall tends to overcharge for many items. As someone who grew up here and still lives here, I want to be honest with you. It's a popular tourist town, so you might find that some places charge a bit more than usual. However, there are some great spots in downtown that offer better prices. I highly recommend checking those out—they're definitely worth it!
I'm 31 years old and I have a 10-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son. As a local, I would be happy to share some recommendations for the best places to visit!
There are thrift stores in downtown, including a pawn shop called Lightning Pawn, which is located in downtown. They are known for treating their customers kindly and with respect. Many other stores in downtown also prioritize politeness and customer service. However, that's not the case at Apple Tree Market.
As a local, I want to be honest with you. We truly value tourism; it played a big role in funding my high school education. My hope is that everyone who visits Branson has a wonderful experience and feels welcomed, rather than being...
