I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Thai Thai, a restaurant that claims to offer an authentic taste of Thailand. However, what I encountered was a complete disaster that left me seething with anger and frustration. From their misrepresentation of Thai cuisine to their appalling food quality, Thai Thai fails to deliver on its promises. Allow me to provide a detailed account of my disappointing visit.

To begin with, Thai Thai's decision to appropriate the name of a country known for its rich and diverse culinary heritage is deeply offensive. By using the name "Thai Thai," the restaurant sets an expectation of providing genuine Thai flavors and dishes. However, this establishment falls far short of that mark, and it is nothing short of a culinary charade.

Let's move on to the food itself. The first offense came in the form of their so-called spring rolls. Instead of the fresh, delicate rice paper rolls filled with vibrant vegetables and aromatic herbs that I was expecting, Thai Thai served me greasy, heavy egg rolls. This blatant mix-up demonstrates the lack of attention to detail and respect for authenticity that permeates every aspect of Thai Thai's operation.

The disappointment continued with their pho broth. If one can even call it that. Thai Thai's attempt at recreating this classic Vietnamese dish was an outright failure. The broth was a disgrace to the essence of pho, lacking the complexity of flavors and aromatic depth that make it so beloved. Instead, what I tasted was a thin, flavorless liquid that seemed to have been prepared haphazardly and without any regard for the artistry and tradition behind pho.

Moreover, Thai Thai's approach to Thai cuisine was a disservice to the culture it claims to represent. From poorly executed renditions of popular dishes to the absence of authentic flavors and techniques, Thai Thai appeared to be nothing more than a cheap imitation. The lack of respect for the intricate balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy flavors that define Thai cuisine was truly disheartening.

The overall dining experience at Thai Thai was equally disappointing. The restaurant lacked any ambiance or charm, making it difficult to overlook the numerous culinary shortcomings. The service was lackluster, with disinterested staff who seemed more focused on rushing through their tasks than ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for the customers.

In conclusion, I strongly urge you to avoid Thai Thai at all costs. The misleading name, inauthentic dishes, and overall lack of quality make it an establishment unworthy of your time and money. If you seek a true taste of Thailand, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area that prioritize authenticity, respect, and culinary excellence. Thai Thai must reconsider its practices and commit to providing an experience that truly honors the culture it claims to represent before it can be considered a reputable Thai restaurant. Oh and the...

Thai Thai Cuisine is a culinary treasure that left my taste buds singing with joy! From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were in for a treat. The shrimp egg rolls were an absolute standout, leaving such a lasting impression that I can't stop thinking about them. Each bite was a perfect balance of flavors and textures, setting the bar high for the rest of our meal.

The larb at Thai Thai Cuisine was truly exceptional and ranks among the best I've ever had. The bold and vibrant flavors combined in perfect harmony, creating a dish that was both satisfying and unforgettable. Every bite was a delightful explosion of tastes that kept us wanting more.

To top off our culinary journey, we indulged in the mango rice dessert that was simply mouthwatering. The sweet and fragrant mango paired with the sticky rice created a heavenly combination that left us craving for more. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.

The thought of returning to Thai Thai Cuisine already has my mouth watering. The food served here is nothing short of amazing, and each dish we tried was a testament to the skill and passion of the chefs. From appetizers to desserts, every bite was a revelation of flavors and culinary expertise that made our dining experience truly memorable.

Not only was the food at Thai Thai Cuisine exceptional, but the entire dining experience was elevated by the clean and well-maintained restrooms. It's clear that attention to detail and cleanliness are top priorities at this restaurant, adding to the overall positive impression.

The staff at Thai Thai Cuisine were not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly helpful with our dietary needs. They accommodated our requests with a smile and ensured that our dining experience was nothing short of fantastic.

In conclusion, Thai Thai Cuisine offers a dining experience that is unparalleled in both flavor and service. The amazing shrimp egg rolls, exceptional larb, and mouthwatering mango rice dessert were just a few highlights of our meal. The thought of returning to this restaurant fills me with excitement and anticipation for more culinary delights. If you're looking for the best Thai cuisine in town, look no further than Thai Thai Cuisine. I can't wait to come back and savor more of their...

Terrible experience. Food arrived late and wrong. Couldn’t get anyone to come to the table - had to chase someone down and get up to ask anything each time. Had to wait forever for food to come out again after finding someone to tell that it was wrong. By the time other dishes arrived, we were through eating. They then asked, “if they didn’t like it, why didn’t they send it back?”and the answer is because after setting the food on the table, no one ever came back to the table. We had to find someone to refill the drinks just once and had to wait to find someone to ask. They understood we were getting two appetizers for someone’s meal, and half of it came out first and half came out after everyone was done eating. When we told the staff we wouldn’t be eating it, the waitress told me that the restaurant couldn’t “eat it” and so they would not be removing it from the ticket. Will NEVER be back. Had to ask for toilet paper in the bathroom. No hand soap. How does the staff keep their hands clean if there is no soap in the bathroom? I feel someone should check this restaurant for health concerns. Overall, the experience was rude and uncomfortable. When the staff realized we were unhappy the final 3 minutes of our stay, they whispered beside our table as if we couldn’t hear them about us. Very mature. If you want a good, pleasant, kind, and authentic experience - look elsewhere. I had been excited all day to go - and we left with such an uncomfortable feeling and was glad to leave. The bill was ridiculously high and the staff never once apologized for anything. Nothing was comped for being late and cold. Or wrong. Just hugely dissatisfying experience. I don’t usually leave reviews - but this upset me enough and I spent a lot of money on an experience (I was trying to introduce my mom to one of my favorite foods) - that will now only be a sour memory from a wonderful vacation. Do NOT...

Four of us went here on a Sunday, 8/6/23. We were two couples, so we shared a dish and appetizers. We ordered yellow chicken curry, pad thai (chicken), shrimp rolls and chicken satay as appetizers. Our waiter was friendly and prompt except when it came time to clear our table and bring the check. Everything else was excellent! The satay was what you would expect. The shrimp rolls were something I'd never had; Shrimp & cream cheese wrapped in a spring roll wrapper and fried. Different, but good. Both the yellow curry and pad thai were as good as any I've had anywhere else. The only thing I would nit-pick is the broccoli in the curry. I've never seen that before and it's not my thing. Easy enough to pick it out though. All in all, it will definitely be a place we give our repeat business to. Also, they give a 10% discount to veterans.
