This is the second year we’ve been able to attend the Grand Jubilee at Grand Country. I was concerned that we would be disappointed since New South’s lead singer David Ragan left in 2022. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Barry Atwood was fabulous! Along with Mark McCauley, Luke Menard, and Eric Dalton, New South did not disappoint. I absolutely LOVE this quartet!
Of course, to be an exceptional performer, you need an exceptional band. The Rhinestone Mafia definitely complements the performers, in fact, they are performers in their own right. Rob Blackburn, Wayne Massengale, Chad Cathell, Larry Allred, and Michael W. Davis are the best of the best! My home is filled with music from these talented musicians and artists.
Rounding out the show was Jamie Haage, Mike Patrick, and Jackie Brown. The comedic genius of Jamie Haage had us rolling in laughter. Mike Patrick does an awesome job as Master of Ceremonies. The costumes are fabulous!
We laughed so much, whooped, and hollered so much that my voice is already hoarse. We had a spectacular time.
You can’t go wrong with this...

While mostly wholesome, a hint of bawdy crept in every so often. I doubt that even the most stead would have noted anything objectionable. The cast was talented, versatile and professional. I suspect that many simply were artists who did not get a "big break" because I 've seen much lesser talent in much bigger productions on TV. A very affordable production, the Grand Jubilee Show is one you'll...
Read moreYou arrive in your seats. There are old people everywhere. You are concerned this is going to be a show that is going to be for the rest of the audience. The shows starts and the host is a slick guy pandering to the audience. The quartet comes out and does a couple songs. They sound good, but don't knock it out of the park. The woman comes out next and sounds great. Like she should be on the radio regularly great. The band is humming along with them, set on cruise control. Intermission hits and we get a break. Pretty good show so far, but not great. Intermission ends and boom, the second half of the show starts. Boy did they pick it up. They came out swinging. The second half of the show was constant hit after hit. Every songs was on point. By the time it was over there was a general exhale of applause. Everyone had a good time. Bottom line is - good...
