Great place to spend a few hours while in Branson. Not just cars, props from shows and movies, we saw other miscellaneous items from all kinds of famous people. Good value on top of it all. Went again taking my sister for her first visit. She's a huge fan of the show Supernatural and the 67 Impala "baby" (she owned a similar Impala once). The museum allows you to sit in the cars for a relative small fee and get pictures. Well of course this just excited my sister when I arranged this for her in baby. The staff was busy and told me that there was other visiters before us for other cars and told us it would be about an half hour until they could get to us. No problems, we can wait. Just a couple minutes later a gentleman approached us about getting the pictures and allowed my sister to sit in baby He told us some background about the car and was tremendously nice. I realized after a bit that it was the owner, Scott Velvet. He was super nice and my sister had a smile from ear to ear. He made sure we saw the other cars from Supernatural and even allowed us "back stage" to see a sign/prop also. Can't say enough great things about our experience today. Thank you Scott and staff for an amazing experience today. Also a huge shootout to Andy (I think it was his name) Who had my sister's phone that she accidentally left behind and thoughtfully put it on a charger until we could make it back to...
Read moreLet's say you've driven 6 hours in your car to Branson, where would you want to go? Why, a car museum of course! But in this case, it's probably worth it. They have a lot of cars--in fact, that's one of my complaints--they have so many cars packed in so tight that if you're a photographer you're not going to be real happy with the angles available. Of course, they're also a car auction so just about everything you see is for sale, so I understand why they packed it to the rafters. Despite the overcrowding though, they really do have a few gems--many classic cars & show cars of course, which are nice, but the best part are the "celebrity" cars. Lots of actual cars used in movies, and a few reproductions that were made to look like movie cars. Best part is they try to theme a lot of their sections--it's not just "Boom, here's a car, and here's the movie it was in...now move along." They actually have memorbilia from the movies, decorating the area around the car, etc--overall this museum is very well done. The staff are also friendly & seemed to know a decent amount about their collection. Would I go back & see this every year? Probably not. But it's probably worth seeing at least once if only for the movie themed cars...
Read moreThis is one of the coolest museum collections Ive EVER SEEN! The ability to pay just 20$extra and get INSIDE the car of your choice is a experience worth EVERY CENT! I chose the Delorean Time Machine and WOW, what a thrill!! The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and take the time to talk about the collection and share their passion with guests. I was pleasantly suprised to find a impressive collection of movie and celebrity memorabilia, such as Forest Gumps suitcase, The 1st gen Apple computer, the autographs, movie props, THE 70S YODA, MTV moon men awards. They have a little of everything for everyone. Plan on spending a solid 2 hours to get a good look at everything they have on display. Can't say enough good things about this collection and how happy I was to see all the added fun things. They also have an INCREDIBLE gift shop featuring gifts for everyone and some SUPER COOL replica and reproduction items. I'm a memorabilia collector myself so it gives me GREAT PLEASURE that there's a place for people to enjoy these items that bring back SOOOOO many fun memories. Thanks to the owners and staff for making the place so much fun and a place I'll bring back friends to for...
