I'm going to preference this by saying, the only reason I'm not rating this a one star is because the manager on duty on Mothers day did a great job when I asked for my money back. She was pretty young and handled it better than I think most adults would. She was professional and polite and as a small business owner myself, I'd tell the owner of this business she deserves a raise. Spoiler alert, I didn't get my money back. Having said that, this place is a rip off. Everyone who goes in has to pay, including the adults that are only there to supervise their kids. For my wife and I and our 3 and 4 year old it was $100 plus tax. They give you a game card, and for each machine your kid wants to operate, you have to swipe the card and it activates the machine. You're not allowed to do consecutive swipes, which is a policy aimed to make sure other people get a turn, however each swipe only gets you about 90 seconds of activation. My kids didn't even have time to learn the controls before they shut off. This was particularly frustrating on this day because there were no other kids waiting to use the equipment. Additionally, there are a few rides that require a ride attendant, and they didn't have enough attendants to have them all going at once. I stood in line with my daughter for one, and as soon as the group of kids were done with their turn, the attendant shut it down and walked over to another ride to attend that one. Once we realized what happened, we went and stood in the line for that ride, and guess what.... as soon as they were done riding she shut it down and moved to the one we were at a second ago. This is when I decided to ask for my money back. I wasn't very insistent about it, and the manager told me unfortunately their policy is no refunds. She also explained why things were the way they were. I know it's not the employees faults, so I cant be upset with them. Whoever owns this place has a real cash...
Read moreIf I could rate lower I would. WAY overpriced for what it is, and of the already limited pieces of equipment at least 50% were inoperable. I think we counted 6+ that were out of order at the time of our visit. You don’t get to run a business like this and have half of your machines down. Sorry that’s not how that works. I’d actually like my $80 back since my daughter wasn’t able to participate in 50% of what we paid for her to. Fix them, or close up until you do. It’s really that simple. Or just continue to run a misleading business with really bad morals. All the props make it so misleading from the outside too. It appears that there’s way more to do than there actually is. The only employee with a good personality was the younger girl running the front desk. Everyone else would barely even look at you, let alone communicate with you. Literally some were acting bothered just to come and turn on the machines. Like that’s literally what you’re employed to do?! Employees were having to bounce back and forth between equipment due to not having enough staff, so you’d have to wait for someone to come turn a machine on for you. We’ve looked forward to this for about a year now, and it was a MASSIVE letdown. Save your time and money, or buy your kids a ticket to Dolly Parton’s Stampede instead (it’s literally the same price). They’ll have a way better time I promise, and you get a meal out of it. Unfortunately just an awful experience. Will not be back, nor will I recommend anyone else go...
Read moreMy wife and I came with six kids between the ages of 2 and 12, and they all had a blast. I had my doubts given the price point, but over the course of the day we definitely had our money's worth of fun. The parking situation is great, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. During our time at the park, they helped us find a lost item and were incredibly sweet about tending to a small cut on my son's leg. While I can see where the rides and tools might not be to everybody's liking, if you are looking for something where the kids can slow down and enjoy fewer things for a longer period of time, Dig Town can't be beat. We will be hearing from the boys about their excavator escapades for a long time. The whole family enjoyed the bumper cars and the putt-putt, and several of the kids did multiple passes at the go-carts as well. We caught shows from Seth Dreams and Chris Stanley; they were both very entertaining and great about keeping the kids' attention and having them interact with the show. The all day access was a real blessing, too. We went in the morning and played until people started getting grumpy, then rested and came back. I also really appreciate that while they offer merchandise and drinks, they don't really force it on you. A nice way to think of this place is like they offer a taste of everything Branson has to offer (attractions, rides, shows, putt-putt, etc) targeted right to the 3 - 9 age range. Thank you Dig Town - we had a...
