A star-studded swing into family fun—Shoot for the Stars Mini Golf is a Branson must-try!
We visited Shoot for the Stars Mini Golf in Branson, MO as part of a combo ticket that included other attractions like the Hollywood Wax Museum and Aquarium at the Boardwalk. It was a great value and made for a full day of entertainment. The mini golf course itself was a standout—fun, colorful, and perfect for all ages.
⛳ This was our daughter’s first time trying mini golf, and she had an absolute blast! The course is designed with a playful Hollywood theme, taking you through whimsical sets like movie studios, red carpets, and celebrity landmarks. Each hole has a fun twist, and the layout is easy enough for beginners while still engaging for older kids and adults.
🌴 The atmosphere is lighthearted and family-friendly, with upbeat music and photo ops throughout. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the course was clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the shaded areas and benches for resting between rounds.
🎟️ Buying the tickets as part of a combo made planning simple and saved us money. Everything was walkable and well-organized, making it easy to transition from one attraction to the next.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
The condition of the place is fair, seems reasonably well maintained.
There are a few somewhat interesting obstacles, one little bridge in the middle, also some water features - although decorative and not tied to the obstacles.
Most of the holes are very basic, fairly straight forward, maybe a little slope on one side of the green. Several of them have some sort of obstacle with two pass-throughs. There is the occasional option of holes that drop you out closer or further from the hole on a lower green. Nothing too overly creative or technical.
Each hole has a theme with some silly statues centered around you being a celebrity and talking to your agent ... They have a push button that talks at you. A few holes have a sensor that starts an audio track for something like a photographer when you walk by.
Tickets were bundled with the aquarium ticket and a coupon, so it was an alright deal. Probably not the nicest course in town, but we had fun...
Read moreIf you're looking for a fun, family-friendly activity Shooting for the Stars is the place! We had prepaid tickets and walked right in with no hassle. While parking could definitely be expanded to accommodate the crowd they draw, once you're inside, the fun takes over. Each hole brings a new challenge—different levels of difficulty and creative twists kept us laughing and engaged from start to finish. A really cool feature is the Hollywood-themed speaker boxes at each hole, offering fun facts and hilarious commentary (though a few were broken, it didn’t take away from the fun overall). The course was clean, well-maintained, and the bathrooms were spotless. Overall, it’s a great time for families, friends, or date night. I gave it a 4-star rating due to the limited parking and a few broken features, but it’s still absolutely worth a visit. We’ll...
