We were super excited to try this place after several recommendations from reading online. There was a 40 minute wait, which wasn't an issue. The atmosphere is great! Loved the games to play while waiting, the live music, and the owner at the hostess station was so nice. We were upstairs, and had it to ourselves, which was welcomed actually. Our server was friendly, however, didn't come and check on us once the food was delivered, until the check came. It is good that the drink glasses are huge! My daughter and I shared the fried catfish plate. Two pieces of catfish, three small hushpuppies, a portion of green beans, and a little container of coleslaw. The catfish was ok, the hushpuppies had a good flavor-need to be bigger, the coleslaw was good, the green beans...less than desired! My son's burger was a great size, but didn't taste great. My husband got the Mack, which he didn't like. The fries on both of their plates said "hand cut fries." They were hard and didn't taste or look fresh like "hand cut fries" are. We were all hungry so we ate our food without complaint. We had just three meals and one soda, which came to $67 with tip. I'm sure that is normal for Branson. We have had tons of wonderful home style country cooking, but unfortunately, this didn't come close at all for us, which is so disappointing with all the hype. We would give it close to an overall 3 stars because of the atmosphere and the lovely owner, but for sure 2 stars with the food. Maybe it was an off evening, or an off few dishes. Tons of reviews LOVE this place which speaks volumes for an establishment, so I would definitely still try it if it is on your list to go...

We decided to stop in for dinner tonight! I had seen advertisements for this restaurant and it was one of the places in our discount list since we had a Quacker from our Duck Tour! They were fairly busy and we had about a 30-minute wait. Not going to lie, as we sat on the front porch waiting I began scrolling reviews and got a little nervous! However, we decided to still give it a shot and I am SO glad we did! Everyone was extremely friendly. I saw, on multiple occasions, the owner and hostess stop by to check in on people or offer assistance to their wait staff! We ordered the half size Pepper Jack Cheese Cubes and Fried Okra...and they were delicious. My husband wanted to try both the Bison Burger and the Pork Tenderloin Dinner, so we got them to share. He was not a fan of the fries, but I loved them. He did enjoy the Bison Burger...so much so he forgot we were supposed to be sharing and devoured almost the entire burger himself! 🤣 The Pork Tenderloin was tender and juicy. The Peppered Gravy was wonderful. Overall, we felt like everything could have benefited from a bit more salt....but that's a preference! And it didn't change our minds about the food being delicious! We are here on vacation from NC and my husband was excited to have finally found somewhere that makes true southern Sweet Tea! I highly recommend Local Flavor to anyone and everyone in the area!
