We visited tonight, 11/23/24. The wait wasn’t so bad considering how busy they were. I found the location online and wanted to check them out while in town. A local business recommended another (nearby) Mexican restaurant for dinner due to this location’s elevated prices. My small family does not mind paying for good food and service, so we tried it anyway. What an experience?! We arrived, and they were super busy. We waited 25 minutes for a table. Once seated, our waitress was pretty cool. We noticed a gentleman (I assumed it was the manager) walking around greeting each table and asking if things were going well. He skipped our table SEVERAL times to the point where it was obvious to several people. We said nothing. I smiled when the gentleman and I made eye contact. God wants us to love everyone even when we look different. After over an hour in the establishment as we were preparing to leave, the gentleman (AKA the owner) approached our table asking if things went well. I’m normally the one who addresses poor customer service; instead, my significant other did. It was very shocking to me. He informed the owner that we had completed our meals and had been passed up several times as he walked by speaking with all the tables around ours. The owner said he apologized if he offended us. He said he didn’t check with our table because I smiled at him when he looked. 🙃 Though it wasn’t mentioned, I observed two business owners ( my significant other owns 3 LEGITIMATE businesses) holding a conversation about a concern that my significant other would never have as he treats his customers equally regardless of any differences. This was our first and last visit to this place. The food is overpriced for the what we received. The salsa was bland. The brisket queso was good. The regular queso was good. The kids tenders and steamed broccoli were okay. Steve’s special (my meal) was not as expected. The rice was overcooked and mushy; there was a random pile of green bell peppers on the side of my plate. I didn’t eat 1/4 of it. The beef enchiladas were good though they only have red sauce, green sauce, and cheese sauce as toppings. There is no chili sauce, sour cream sauce, etc… the charro beans were bland and, again, the rice was mushy. The 60 oz margarita was basic… The only option was “on the rocks”… no frozen. I ordered pineapple and peach flavors… neither flavor popped. I took nearly the whole thing with me and didn’t drink the rest. It is a cute display when it comes out “flaming”, but not worth $39 if you ask me. Respectfully, please do not reach out offering your phone #. I do NOT need it. I see reviews from over a year ago with the same concerns. SMH… We live over 7 hours away, and you have already established your once-in-a-lifetime first impression with us. Despite the length of our vacation, we will not return. I wish you well, but I pray you do better. And lastly, as you told us, “You all have a blessed night.” I mean it in the most...
Read moreHonestly I really enjoyed the food however I was very disappointed in the service (I still tipped my server because I've worked in the service industry tho) she completely acted like my daughter didn't exist we got two meals and were putting part of our meal on a separate plate for her because she's almost 2 and the kids menus are $10 (no price on the menu had to ask) so I asked for a separate plate she brought out our food and I asked her a second time for and extra plate she came back with silverware for me and my fiance but no plate or silverware for my daughter so I asked again and she just grabbed a tiny plate off the table next to us that was smaller than my hand to which I asked for an actual plate because I had already explained it was to share with my daughter she came out with the plate and one we had the food divided I realized she never gave my daughter any silverware. Honestly it felt like she didn't even want to acknowledge that my daughter was a human being and it was very frustrating. When ordering I also asked what came with the food and she told me beans and rice while failing to tell me that there would be guacamole on the plate even when pressed and asked if that was everything that would be on my plate besides the main dish i am allergic to avocado and know that is common on the side which is why i asked luckily my allergy is mild so I scraped it off the plate with my fiances fork and i just gave it to my daughter but if my allergy was severe instead of mild i would have had to send it back . She didn't refill my fiances drink other than one time and he drinks quickly only came to check on us once or twice after rushing us to order and when she brought out to go boxes with the check she brought one to go box for 3 customers (at this point I asked for two more because I was worried if I asked for more without specifying she would exclude one for my daughter's food as she had been excluding anything to do with my daughter the whole meal. I paid 39 dollars and some change and tipped 7 dollars cash due to not wanting to leave nothing because of my own experience in the industry however but I never felt more disrespected in my life especially when it came to how my child was treated she's been going to restaurants since I gave birth to her and she is very well behavedhaved so I know how she acted was not the problem she stayed in her seat talked/babbled to us in an inside voice and pointed and asked for things when she wanted something that she could not reach never once throwing a fit or climbing on anything so unless the waitress just hates kids in general there was no reason for her to completely disregard the existence of a customer sitting there and I had to ask for my check when halfway through my food because the treatment they showed towards her was so repulsive I was getting very angry and did not want to end up...
Read moreWalking into Flaming Margaritas on Hwy 76 is like stepping into a warm, festive gathering spot with a flair for fun. The first thing you notice is the lively energy: colorful décor, friendly chatter, and the faint scent of sizzling spices hinting at great Mexican-inspired fare to come.
Food That Delivers on Flavor
From starters to entrees, the food consistently earns praise. One diner raved: “Food was delicious, we were a large party and everyone raved about their dinner. Zero complaints about our meals!” The cheese dip and seafood enchiladas consistently earn special mention; some even say “Seafood enchiladas yum and their cheese dip is delicious.” And it doesn’t stop there—reviews reflect that even those expecting the usual Mexican fare were delighted at how much better this one delivered.
Service That Shines
Impressively, the quality of the service matches the food. Guests often use words such as “great” and “fantastic” to describe their server’s attentiveness and warmth. One review simply noted, “Loved this place and our server was great and food was wonderful.” Another confirmed, “Margaritas were excellent, the food was some of the best Mexican I’ve had, and the service was fantastic.” Together, these affirm that the staff bring genuine hospitality—making you feel welcomed and looked after from the moment you sit down.
Atmosphere: Cozy, Lively, and a Bit Tight
If there's a slight drawback, it’s that the ambiance can feel a little cramped at times. The layout—likely compact due to its location on a bustling strip—means tables are close, seats can feel snug, and the overall space may feel tight, especially during peak hours. However, that closeness doubles as intimacy—conversations feel more personal and every sizzle from the kitchen seems more present. It’s a trade-off: a true neighborhood vibe with just enough energy that you might brush shoulders with fellow diners now and then—but that just adds to the spirited atmosphere.
Margaritas That Live Up to the Name
No review would be complete without mentioning the star—of course—the Flaming Margarita. While not every review goes in-depth, the sentiment is clear: these drinks are memorable. One shared experience exclaims: “Have you ever had a margarita brought to your table that’s been set on fire?!” The visual spectacle alone earns major applause—even before the smooth, flavorful taste arrives. It’s not just a drink, it’s dinner theater.
Overall Experience: Highly Recommended
Combine impeccable food, standout service, and theatrical cocktails, and Flaming Margaritas manages to deliver a dining experience that’s hard to beat on the Branson strip. Yes, the space may be a touch snug—but that’s part of the charm. It pulls you closer, invites lively conversation, and makes the place feel...
