Stateline Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Bristol

First time eating here with my girlfriend. We both ordered the sirloin steak medium and we thought it was absolutely delicious. We were not aware that the Bristol Rhythm and Roots festival was going on, so basically it was standing room only, and had to eat at the bar. The bartenders were doing a fantastic job serving everyone, and we waited a normal amount of time. Jack the owner was awesome. We were trying to pay our bill but at that moment it had gotten even busier and I guess it was hard to hear in there and my girlfriend and I always like to split our bills, which they probably didn't hear us and put it all on one bill. Jack had us meet him at the kitchen and fixed everything for us promptly, which was excellent because I'm kind of antisocial and don't like being in huge crowds of people. I guess my girlfriend and I got lucky because apparently we were supposed to pay to get into Rhythm and Roots even though that wasn't our true goal tonight. We were actually going to the casino, and we were both hungry and I suggested Stateline bar and grill as I went there a long time ago and remembered that I had a good experience, and figured that it had to be close to the casino. Had they charged us an entry fee we probably would not have made it there tonight. So it was a good fluke. Actually finally won some money from the casino on quarter slots. The girlfriend was not so lucky though unless you consider her going home with me as lucky. Lol. I usually never give five star ratings, because I consider that perfect or near perfect, but if I go there just one more time and have another great experience I will up it to five stars as a restaurant that is consistently great definitely deserves that rating. I have been doing food delivery every few days in the bristol area for 6 months now and never had an experience like this.

For people unfamiliar with how deliveries work, the customer either orders directly from the app ( door dash , Uber , etc) and the store prepares the food then gives it to you upon arrival. If the store is not linked with a certain app then you use a company debit card to pay for whatever is being delivered and then deliver it.

I went in to order for a customer and the lady taking my order acted like she had no idea what was going on and saying that they don’t do that. (All you do is order then pay with company card like any to go order.) she told me to sit down and wait for the order to be ready. I then had 3 different employees come to me acting extremely rude basically asking why I was in there. I told each one I was just waiting for a to go order and they were all completely clueless about what that is. I explained this concept to each of them and one of them goes “so your waiting for an Uber to pick you up?” The others got very rude about it saying they don’t do that and just walked away. Trying to enjoy my yummy dinner with extremely LOUD karaoke SUCKS! Won't be back on Thursday or any night they offer it unless they turn it down! 👎🏼 Food is good. I bumped them up on atmosphere because I asked the waiter to turn it down a hair and they did right away, it sounds a lot better now. food is still delicious, service is really good.

• in response to your reply, I said the food was delicious, so it's not that you didn't make me happy, although I might suggest you hold off on karaoke until 8:00 p.m. or later. Maybe allow people a chance to eat their dinner in a pleasant atmosphere, because sorry but the truth is, not everybody has a million dollar voice. OR you could turn it down just a hair, as it was very loud and I listen to my music loud, so it was obnoxiously loud, my dinner date does not like loud noise and it was even worse for him, so if you truly care about what your customers think, you will appreciate my honest feedback, and that I have stated four times now, your food is delicious.
